Wheres the nearest Library?
I need a book
I want to read
a good novel
a horror
a romance
a poem?

I need to see football
SLIDE HIM, SLIDE HIM
COME ON YOU PANSIES… ARGH!!!
Oh Fudge cake and cream, we lost
I’LL DO YOU ALL IN IF YOU SAY A WORD
TWO NIL
That team was a great load of crap

Another adolescent
cant get what they want
"I HATE YOU, YOU’RE RUINING MY LIFE. I WISH I WAS NEVER BORN"
Oh Shut up, please,
You’re giving me a headache.
Can you think of nothing origional to say?

They moan to their friends
"I hate my parents, they’re always stopping me having fun"
Will you please desist? They’re people too!
Oh shut up please,
and give them a break
take another view
and decide who’s right
please?

And anyway, what were you doing last night?
the night befire?
What did they prepare for you just before you destroyed the house?
What did they do for you after?
Remember when you rolled home peuking?
What did they do for you then?

A foul smelling tree
With yellow fungal growths
and black decolouring

Holes punched in it
wartorn – the battle of birds and prey
as violent as battle
The fight for your life
against an impossible foe

In the bitterness
Left alone – unaided

The art of conversation
take years
to master
and yet
is the
most natural thing
we do.
The only thing
that we are learning
from our very birth
to our death
and yet
we find it
impossible
to perfect.

Its funny how
annoying acts
injustices
are taken
light of heart
when done by one
of comical nature
one we call a

friend – a person
to whom we turn

one with
the best shoulder
to cry upon
pour your heart out

remeniscing on times past
its good to know
theres someone there
witty
caring
to be taken
with
a
pinch of salt
