Omg Omg Omg Summerfest

yeah, annoying music and fireworks a zillion times a day for two weeks.

So far this is all I got on the Mog Quest, add more if you got it:

Race/Sex Items:
Galka – Tail Cutter

Mithra – Yhoator Flea

Elvaan Male – Tome of Whispers

Elvaan Female – Tome of Moans

Hume Male – Dire Candle

Hume Female – Blood Candle

Taru Male – Snickering Skull

Taru Female – Sniffling Skull

Also you will recieve a Key Item that isa Drawing of your partner. Theres no need to list these, so blah.

You’ll need to PT with one other person of a different sex and/or race and then talk to the moggle. You can only do this once per game day, but its all good.

The first time you do this quest you will be rewarded with the :

Omina Yukata for female

and the:

Onoko Yukata for male.

You’ll need to wear this every time you do this.

After you recieve your stylish new threads you’re ready to aim for your Lord’s yukata for the guys and Lady’s yukata for the gals.

To do this you’ll need to do this four more times, each time with someone of a different race and/or sex thats different from you and the first one you’ve done it with.

After you do this and have your HQ version, you can continue to trade the items to the mog for Summer Fans, Festival Fans and the age old Chocobo Tickets.

I’m still working on finding out what better items you can recieve and what the hell Goldfish Scooping is.

If you figure it out before I do, and how to get it, go to it and pass it on.

I’m more interested on how to get them Specticales that some people have… it gives better results in crafting and it’s an EX/RARE…. and they make you look interlectual. 8)

You can buy the spectacles with guild points. I believe you have to be a novice to start accumalating guild points, but at any rate, you basically talk to an npc and turn in items to them to accumulate points.

alright, ended up getting every item and tried to trade to the moogle, turns out after the initial special prize of a Lord or Lady’s yakata you can get another one by trading four or more items.

So as for this, there is nothing more to it.

So if you trade as singles afterwards you can get random fans or choco tix, with the tix being rare. If you trade 2-3 at a time, you will always get choco tix. Trading 3 does not ensure more, infact I got less when I did it.

So now, we wait for goldfish scooping.

I heard about a Fishbowl Item? I dunno, someone in my LS was talking about it and then I logged because I was sleepy…. 🙁

I just remember logging on last night and was like "WTF is this". Then someone explained it to me and I buddied up with him on one of the mog quests. ^^ Very nice fellow and added him to my friends list.

Anyway… Next objective is to get even better nifty threads. ^^

OMG. I hate that damn summerfest. Just isn’t my thing ya know? And I don’t get how you scoop goldfish.

Actually right now, if you go outside of the main nations (the 1-10 level areas), you’ll find NPCs that can set you up for Goldfish Scooping. It’s kinda like regular fishing but you don’t level up from it. That’s where your Lord Yukata comes in.
