This is a great game for pS2. It’s kind of like an RPG. You can collect the swords from the people you kill and upgrade them. You can join different families and clans, and there are different fighting styles for each sword. I highly recommend it if you like anything like sword fighting. Anyone that’s seen Rurouni Kenshin (the anime, or read the manga) will be right at home, as it’s in the same time period. They even have Saitoh’s Gatotsu!

The Bushido Blade games are some of my favorite games ever, so naturally I was really pumped about this game, and as soon as I get the chance I’m gonna drive down to EB and get it. I know it’s supposed to have its flaws, but it does so much right that I can’t help but forgive them. It sounds fucking awesome!

i think Way of the Samurai looks retarded.
I’m gonna go with Onimushu 1+2 and The upcoming Shenmue 2 for X-Box.

I finally got a chance to go pick it up and you’re right Kanchi, it’s pretty damn good. There are a few things that they’ll hopefully improve/change for the sequel (if they do one):
– Bushido Blade style combat, where there aren’t life bars (it’s way more realistic and suitable for this kind of game)
– Bigger overall area
– More branching paths and a more immersive world
– A much longer quest
– A better save system (the save system on WTS sucks ass!)
If they did all these things, it would be a fucking amazing game! It’s still good as it is though, just not great.
