Thomas Newman scoring "Saving Mr. Banks"

YES!

I was already excited for this movie, but now that I know Thomas Newman is scoring the film, I’m 10x more excited! 😀

I’ve been a fan of Thomas Newman since I heard his score for Finding Nemo. I’ve gone through most of his work since then and thoroughly enjoyed it! His ambient type of music writing/style (FOR EXAMPLE: Finding Nemo, Pay It Forward, The Help, WALL�E, A Series of Unfortunate Events) will fit perfectly with the tone of this film.

What do you guys think about this?

The last music I heard from Thomas Newman was the score for James Bond: Skyfall. He’s one of the best so it was ok, altough I think "Saving Mr. Banks" will be waaay more in style with the ambiance and colorful orchestrations we’re used to from Newman. Can’t wait to hear it!

I enjoyed Skyfall a lot. But I prefer his older ambiance type music too.

I think, what we have so far of the soundtrack. (25 tracks) it is going to be a really great score.
