So this has been bothering me for a while. A lot of users on here will post scores listed/tagged as Recording Sessions, when (in my opinion) they are just the complete scores. For me, something should only be labeled as Recording Sessions if it contains alternates, inserts, or pickups. And not just one or two of them, I mean it should contain multiple alternates, inserts or pickups. Other wise your just listening to a complete score and nothing more. Alternates, inserts, and pickups are part of the recording session process and should be included in something labeled/tagged as recording sessions.

Sometimes, it seems that most people who upload "recording sessions" only label them because they have slate numbers.

I know some people wont agree with me on this so I want to know your opinions on this.

i do think also that complete score is full score for movie and no alternate track. i have seen marked RS that are really complete, with number tags as you say. for me, i mark for my library only RS as those with extra alternate or takes.

strict to speak, recording sessions are not film version\mixed, and have many takes of same song, with different quality, like battle beyond stars RS.
