So has anyone managed to rip the 5.1 stream yet?

from MoviesAnywhere rip, it’s encrypted.
So anyone who has it, they’d need to decrypt themselves as they have the only key for their copy.
And the ones who uploaded all the lossy-converted edits, didn’t bother to think to share the original decrypted version.
And probably never will: "good enough for me".

from iTunes extras (only if you buy the movie in HD; not SD and not by renting it in HD either), there’s Tuneskit that can rip extras.
But no one wants to buy Tuneskit.
Pirated versions are outdated and don’t include ripping extras.
You need the newest version that’s from their official site.

So unless the original decrypted version shows up, we’ll never get it.
Just the transcoded edits, which are useless if you want to synch it up with the movie.
And it’s incredibly stupid to work with the lossy-transcoded edits as it would all be bloated from keeping it all in lossless format.

The MoviesAnywhere verison is extremely lowbitrate, using HE-AAC profile.
So it’s going to sound terrible no matter what you do to try "remaster" it.

The iTunes might be better bitrate with AAC-LC.
No one knows.
