I’m pretty sure everyone really disliked having to go from Point A to Point B on foot for the first time in the Calm Lands…. and I’m pretty sure everyone hated trying to find the Chocobo Lady and get a free ride.

But it makes me wonder one thing, going from the Macalania Lake to Mt. Gagazet, I would think it would be a walk from 10 blocks away on the streets (and with Tidus’ crazy running speed… which isn’t that fast, it can be a pretty slow walk)

And as to why it’s called the Calm Lands… with a shitload of monsters on em… it’s not really calm unless you step you butt in and go into random battles after random battles.

Not only that, but the Calm Lands is the central place for "monster collecting."

I never found the Chocobo lady anyway. It was a good place to level up, and my party REALLY needed levelling up on its way to the Mt Gagazet area.

I didn’t like the Calm Lands. I’d rename them Boring Lands. There were too many dirctions to walk into, it all looked the same, grassy, and that made the random encounters worse…

Well, it is called The Calm Lands because that is the last location where Sin was defeated. The music is calm, but yeah, there are monsters all over the place. I only went to The Calm Lands for the Monster Arena.

I liked the Calm Lands, it was big, wide, serene 😮 *ahem* yeah whatever.

I needed to level up, and am I the only one here who thought the music gave that ‘calm’ feeling?

How could you not love the chocobos? 🙁
Not to mention the quest for claiming a new aeon.
