Need help – Corel Prison Chocobo Race

Hi, i jsut got the pc version for ff7 and everythings gone fine up until just after you kill dyne and go up the elevator to the chocobo race. the game simply shuts down and an error message pops up after the screen goes blank for ester to take you into the chocobo race itself (after you’ve picked up the ramuh materia and talked to jo)

Im using windows xp, ive tried running the game in all three resolutions, ive tried a windows xp patch, ive tried running it in windows 95 compatibility mode

anybody know whats going on?

Buy A Playstation and play it on that.

Your computer hates you.

But honestly, I don’t know. Maybe there’s Final Fantasy VII patch you could download from somewhere that’d fix it.
