Here is a bootleg featuring music John Williams wrote for NBC News, as well as some of his concert works. Like my previous upload, John Williams Concert Works (Thread 181766), the sound quality is not good, but it gives you a chance to hear some of Williams’ work that you probably wouldn’t hear anywhere else, such as the Fugue for Changing Times and Scherzo for Today. Scans of the notes are included.

1. Mission Theme for "NBC Nightly News" (1:47)
2. Fugue for Changing Times (1:51)
3. Scherzo for Today (1:48)
4. The Pulse of Events (1: 26)
5. NBC News: 30 opener/closer #1 (0:32)
6. NBC News: 30 opener/closer #2 (0: 31)
7. NBC News: 20 opener/closer (0:22)
8. NBC News: 15 opener/closer (0:16)
9.-19. NBC News Bumpers 1-11 (1:51)
20. Sound The Bells! (Original Version for Brass and Percussion) (2:01)
21. Jubilee 350 Fanfare (3:20)
22. We’re Lookin’ Good! (5:00)
23. Esplanade Overture (4:38)
24. To Lenny! To Lenny! (2:55)
25. Variations on "Happy Birthday" (5:39)
26. A Nostalgic Jazz Odyssey (12:52)
27.-29. Sinfonnieta for Wind Ensemble (16:44)
30. Fanfare for a Festive Occasion (2:28)

As much as any rare Williams uploads are appreciated, a warning to those who are interested in this: ‘sound quality is not good’ doesn’t quite do it justice. It sounds like it was played on a phonograph and then recorded on another phonograph with a sock stuffed inside it while under water. It’s quite bad. (For ‘reference purposes’ only.)

This is fantastic! I’ve never been able to find either the "Esplanade Overture" or "We’re Looking Good!" anywhere, so for me this is a major get. Anybody happen to know where these versions came from? Old BPO performances, maybe?

I’ve also never heard the second or third movements of the Sinfonietta. Very cool — thanks!
