I have this thoughts…

Is Grand Theft Auto San Andrea an online game? Or Would It be cool If It becomes and online game?

Or If any other GTA series or new ones like San Andreas gets the occasion ability to be the first online game?

What do you think? I think It would be cool!

I just thought that myself today. Mostly because someone i know bought it for PC. AND.. get this… i asked him… does it have online play or anthing this time? Which the answer is no. So this thread is kinda cool for me. Hell, i shoulda made it!
It would need to be thought about a little but when i think of the size of the game world, and turf wars etc, a good, large online game could be made. It woulda been cool.

I do not know GTA would work online.

There is a user-made mod for Vice City called Multi-Theft Auto that lets up to 64 people (I think) play at the same time. It’s only a matter of time before one is released for San Andreas – it’s pretty awesome, and worthwhile checking out.

I think it could work, there used to be a similar game (though it had a more futuristic setting) that involved man-to-man combat and vehicle based fights. Personally I think they’ll make a good investement by realising a function like this. Preferably an addon of somesort.

I agree, they would sell alot of copies and earn alot of money, because gta Is very populare. But one thing that remains: That we could create our own characters, like on ”The Sims”

I always thought of how much fun it would be to have 50 people get onto a GTA city server and all be driving wrecklessly and shooting each other. They could make an MMORPG kinda thing out of it. or maybe not :-/

Lol everyone driving around, flying and stuff, that would be messy.

They should have like an 100 peoples on one server, lol.

Well I know it’s been though up before and I have a hint that they well have it in the next GTA game.
I think they sound have a freestyle mode: Were everybody goes and fly’s drives, kills.
Mission based, were people just go on missions with other mission players
Killing spree based were it’s kinda like a deathmatch game.

I tried Multi Thief Auto and it’s a lot fun. They modded it so well to accomodate so many players. You can hitch a ride on people’s vehicles too. <3

Wow I’ve never tried this multi theft auto! too bad cause my country do not support ps2 online. I wish I could play it! But San Andreas being online would be so much freaking cool!!!! Imagine 50+ people riding a Rhino shooting and banging with each other! or get a car, pimp it, and do some darg racing shit! or maybe ride a hydra and shoot each other then jump out, do some sky diving! HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!

Initially go to CJ`s house, after that, all the proprty you buy can be used as a save point.

i hate that game…its just so….like the others….the 3rd was the bomb…the 4th, great, but a 5th?! thats like the tekkens, only those got better because they had nw chars, better combos, and better graphics. GTA on the other hand, hasnt come far from its origins…
