Hardest Weapon.

OK, i do not know if anyone remembers, but i did a similar thread to this, and it turned out simply to be a single battle between.

Ruby and Emerald weapon.
So WHO is the hardest??
If you want you can aslo post some rumours regarding the wepons and any tips for beating them for refernce of anyone.

i would have to say emerald, im not sure why, i suppose its because i beat him second and he takes a longer time to beat than ruby. Its a very close one though

i think ruby is harder, because you are forced to fight him with one person when he gets rid of your two other players (plus you cannot choose), and emerald may have more HP, but he doesn’t counterattack everything with Ultima does he?

if ur fight ing ruby with one character then ur making a HUGE mistake ur supposed to go into the fight with 2 characters already deadso he sticks his claws right in the sand. then us phoenix to revive everyone.

my vote goes to ruby still but this^^ makes it ALOT easier. I beat emerald in under the twenty minute time limit cause for some reason my underwater materia dissappeared.

Neither of them have anything on Krakken. ^^

Ruby was a bit tougher though.

I’ve never gone all the way through on VII, but my friend is having a really hard time with both weapons. All his characters are level 99 and he does start off with only two people and uses Pheonix but he still can’t seem to beat either of them.

Anyone have any pointers?

Well ive tried fighting ruby weapon with just cloud :o. Well for me i just kept summoning knights of the round with master summon materia that i got for beating emerald weapon. I just summon and then use an elixr. I keep doing that until he dies. O and keep that Mbarrier and Barrier up. *note ruby weapon just keeps countering with ultima :(.

Ruby was easy if you had defeated Emerald beforehand. Simply cast Hades to stop the bastard, and then pound him from Knights of the Round. Having the Master Summon materia here helps. 🙂

To me, Emerald Weapon was the hardest. Back then, I didn’t know how to minimize the damage Aire Tam Storm caused, and I hated that he sucked up all of your MP! So much for Final Attack – Pheoniz if you have 0 MP…

Ruby was sort of easier, but still very hard.

Emerald weapon is way harder.

He sucks your hp/mp

His air tram storm (or weatever) Does damage depending on haw much materia so thats limits your materia per person

That’s the way that everyone says to do it, but my friend came up with a way that i’ve seen work firsthand:
Go into battle with your best character equipped to the max, but make sure he has mastered master summon and mastered mimic, then what you do is cast knights of the round, mimic, knights of the round, mimic, continue on until he dies, just be ready with the megalixirs!
My vote goes to Emerald to beat because of the Materia Storm attack.

I definately have to say Emerald. I’ve had the game for four years, and, as I have posted in another thread, haven’t beaten it yet. I really need help

Ruby weapon is by far harder cause he takes 2 of your party members away and casts tonnes of status ailments on you but if you gotsta ribbon you can wave those status ailments goodbye
I recomend a hell of a lot of elixers and knights of round to put him in his place.:coolegg:

No way emerald harder. he limits your materia (unless you wanna be killed)
