Kingdom Hearts – Final Mix
FFVII – International
FFX- International
FFX-2 International – Last Mission

what does all these games have in common?Yes they are all rereleased games , with additional contents, like kingdon hearts (a new scene – Cloud Vs Sephiroth) , FFVII (Weapon scene-Japanese ) , FFX ( Extra Boss – Penance , Ribbon, Two years later scene) , FFX-2 ( The last mission, addional FMV’s) .
what really bugs me is that this has becoming some sort of trend with Square Enix. it becomes worst when some of these titles are in japanese with no option available to switch to english (KH and FFX-2) .as a result those who cant read japanese missed out on many things!
so recently , i found out that FFXII was delayed here’s the reason as i quote from www.gamepro.com by Bones .

"Originally slated for release in the U.S. in time for this years holiday rush, FFXII has been rolled back to early 2005 in the US (but as early as late 2004 in Japan). Square said the delay was made to allow their development team more time to cut out extraneous material and streamline the project as a whole. One of the pieces that may hit the cutting room floor is a chess-like minigame in the vein of the popular Tetra Master game made popular in FFVIII (though the designers stressed that all efforts will be made to include it). Also missing will be the monster ranch side quest of previous FF games, though Matsuno was quick to point out that the final product will have no shortage of entertaining minigames and challenging side quests."
end of quote

so , IMHO , there’s a BIG chance that Square Enix will release FFXII International a few months after the release of FFXII.So please Square Enix, if you had to released an international version , please make it english friendly!

Well, the thing is that we really weren’t supposed to be importing games… but whoever said that was probably some stupid law guy that doesn’t know what’s going on.

Fact of the matter is that JPN games were supposed to be Japanese… FFX Int and MGS Intregal were in English for the most part because a large part of the script was already written and there was not a lot of additional text. FFX-2 had a whole game to add and many other things, there was no way for it to be "English" friendly without sitting down and re-writing it with absolutely no point.

Huh? I didn’t realize that there ever was a set US release date that could be delayed. From what I’ve ehard, all so far that’s been announced and delayed was the release date for the Japanese version, which was moved to "winter/spring 2004/2005" last time i heard. Which makes the bits of news that the US version is supposed to be released in early 2005… well, it’s not really believable, I think. As far as I know, there’s no official date given, only speculations.

But I don’t expect anything from a source that says Tetra Master is from FFVIII. 😉

Well I do find it annoying that they always make one version of the game, release it then make another. The other being japanese only.

I’d rather just have it delayed and have them release ONE game.
