Can’t get Bull Chocobo to appear

How do you get the Bull Chocobo to appear. I’ve run in and out of the Platform 1 South Tanks over 50 times to where the Chocobo is suppose to appear and it has not happened.

Any help would be appreciated.

That’s either really bad luck or something weird is going on, as it’s supposed to have a 40% chance to appear. Are you sure you’re carefully checking the area where it’s supposed to appear? I’m not sure, but I seem to recall that it shows up around the edge toward the sea area. So if you’re not right there, it doesn’t show up. Other than that, I’d say maybe just go off and hunt some other Rare Game and do some other stuff and see if maybe the glitch works itself out. As far as I can tell from what you said, you’re doing everything right, so I’m not sure why it wouldn’t show up.

I seem to be having the same problem. Maybe there’s something else required to spawn it. 😕

This is from the guide I have been using: "In the east section from the Gate Crystal in the Ogir-Yensa Sandsea, the Bull Chocobo has a 40% chance to appear for each entry. Exit and enter quickly a few times to assure its appearance. For this to work, the player must exit and re-enter from Platform 1 South Tanks and not the Yensa Border Tunnel."

Also, since it is a trophy rare game, you might have to start the whole trophy hunt for it to show up.

Pretty much all the Trophy RG’s are just there, in their places without having to fulfill any requirements to spawn them, with MAYBE one or two exceptions, cause I mean, you only get to fight them once. Bull Chocobo, in my experience, has ALWAYS been there upon activating the Trophy sidequest.

There actually is one exception I can think of, that being Vorres. That thing’s basically impossible to spawn without a guide or knowing exactly what to do upon playing the first time, it’s very unlikely to be something you’ll "happen" to do. I guess they did it to be nice to those who are going after the Tournesol and want an easy Soul Powder to ensure that they didn’t "accidentally" kill it earlier.
