For the DS, this game looks amazing! Looks like FF6, CT, and Secret of Evermore all wrapped into one game. Reviews make it sound like it should be fun, but i can’t get over how awesome the graphics look, anyone else seen this?

Well, in the new NP it received a 5.0 (out of 10). The review reads…

At first glance, you’d assume this game was made in Japan, and you’d be off by about 6,000 miles. Black Sigil was actually developed in Montreal by some folks who were clearly big fans of Chrono Trigger. This isn’t quite an RPG to equal the classics, but it’s not a bad first step. Black Sigil looks great in a 16-bit sort of way, and the soundtrack is beautiful. On the other hand, the story could stand to pick up a bit faster, and combat tends to be a chore. Random encounters happen too often, take too long, and involve too much sitting and waiting for the active-time gauge to fill up. Still, Studio Archcraft may have a great game for us someday.

Yea fuck NP and there opinions.

Too bad it keeps getting pushed back, its one of the only games ive ever just seen screenshots on and been excited for.

Yeah about half the time I disagree with NP’s reviews. They rated the new Jake Hunter at 6.0 and the original at 5.0 but I still loved it. They also rated The Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood at 8.0, so yeah they get it wrong from time to time.

Yeah true, it comes to down the core fanbase to get a good opinion or review on something, the game isn’t even out yet so to hell with anyone’s ‘observations’. I think the game LOOKS great though. Hopefully it is fun and has a good story a well!

Good Post

It was originally me asking about the story but I decided it was stupid to ask since I could just look it up myself. I just wanted to continue the dialogue we had going but you hadn’t responded.
