Blacklight: Retribution Soundtrack

This (Thread 112594) person ripped the music and provided it, but the link has been down. I decided to rip the music since he explained how he did it. I also included the OST that was on Necron99 (https://soundcloud.com/necron99)’s soundcloud(Only 3 tracks, it’s the only OST available, I believe).

Notes:

Some duplicates were present. I decided not to include them.
Tracks 002-004 in SB_Music002 came out garbled, so I had to record that track at the tutorial section
The menu music was divided into layers. I didn’t feel like trying to replicate how it’s played at the main menu. I decided to record it instead.

Thanks! I never had a decent latency when trying to play this game but the music brought me back to try again at least a few times.

Misericorde described the genre well in the link you posted.

The sounds are a mix of darkstep and dubstep, with drum elements reminiscent of Kenji Kawai’s Ghost in the Shell. The game sounds dark and cyberpunk-ish.

I rather liked it and hope more games go for this kind of sound in their soundtracks!

The game has recently gotten a major update, which means new music. Already uploaded to MEGA. 🙂

The files, sadly, have generic names unlike in the old build of the game, where the music files were named according to where they play in the game.

Updated the links. Renamed and moved certain new tracks that were in the "Blacklight Retribution New Music" folder into the main Blacklight Retribution folder.
