Some are from sites where nothing was to be shared or leave that site. The point is, ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT go there thinking you have found something wonderful and then come here and post it. I really really hope people can learn from this.

I am of course joking and agree with you RE the site in question…
And yet people continue to go there like it’s the greatest place in the world

It isn’t really that good.
Are you kidding me? It’s HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope. Maybe this will make that light bulb in someone’s mind go off, although I doubt that any person who goes there has any brains

It’s about time someone highlighted how shoddy most of the music is on that blog. Some of the links are decent but like everyone has mentioned, the majority of them have been posted here before. And a lot of the members are fakes and deceitful bastards as we all know at this stage. Stay away from that blog!
Alright, good to see most of you know to stay away
Exist a bootleg version of this score. The "complete score 2CDs" is incomplete.
The bootleg score are 3CDs, with some FX.
I remember see some covers in a french blog (tom art I think)
^^^^^^THIS^^^^^^
This is my point. This is why I started this thread
That’s not the only one, either. I know there are additional scores listed under "other scores", but still. Don’t fucking add them to a blog called "Hans-Zimmer scores". And I gust ca’nt get over teh engrish langauge being yoused. It’s a amberasment
😉 😉 😉
Right, Dak? *hint, hint, nudge, nudge*. Yeah, I suppose he could have included the word "blog" in the title somewhere, but now you’re here, and you can see what it is all about.
Unrelated note: has anyone seen how they’ve censored all posts discussing complete scores on the HZ boards? Most notably is Inception, but I’ll bet they’ve censored some of Mr. Jones’ stuff too. It’s weird that they’d replace all the posts with ***; normally they just delete posts. And the ones that have been censored are very specific…
Is it possible to alter the title so people can be aware that this is about a blog that people should avoid?

Did you see the smiley?

I put it here, it’s here, oh well. And you can’t change the name of a thread which is freaking ridiculous. If I could, I would. I wish I could. But what’s done is done. Oh well……..
Happy to help guys!
Also, yeah, you might be surprised at how many scores end up being composed of many short cues. Take the Pirates 4 demos, for example. Even though the music from the climax scenes appears to be playing for 5 or 10 minutes or however long, it is actually divided up into 5 or more short cues.
HANS ZIMMER – The Complete Scores: Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows (Expanded Motion Picture Soundtrack) – 2CD (http://hanszimmerscore.blogspot.com/2012/01/sherlock-holmes-expanded-motion-picture.html)
So word of warning, when he posts it, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD no one here post it thinking it’s ANYTHING legit. I know it says it will be SFX free, but with this guy nothing ever is.
YIPPIE KI YAY MOTHERFUCKER!!!!
AMERICA!!! FUCK YEAH!!!!
He needs to be convinced that he has to shut it down.
…Rather…
He needs to convince himself that it needs to be shut down.
:smrt:
It’s called "Inderption".
We hit in the head with a potato and see if he learns from one potato, two potato, more!
No more inception flavoured potato crisps for you, Sparky. that and Audacity seems to drive you Nutso.
SFX free??? Want it so badly!!!!!!
SFX free??? Want it so badly!!!!!!
Ok I think your completely missing the point of my thread. EVERY SINGLE SCORE from that blog is a fake. Every one. So in other words, the version of The Last Samurai that you want DOES NOT EXIST
1.) No. Just no
2.) I’m pretty sure every single score from that place was fake
3.) What would the source be? He always said "coming soon", or "TBA" – which is an indication he used the DVDs to rip the music from
4.) The blog is gone, so forget about it
If you need proof to settle your "What if?", IM24CTU, be sure to read through this post: http://forums.ffshrine.org/f92/sherlock-holmes-game-shadows-hans-zimmer-2011-a-101546/5.html#post1888782. Granted I hadn’t seen the movie at the time I made that post, but most of my statement still stands. It was true that his third preview actually sort of did resemble the tracks I described. And while it is right to believe the stuff had been slowed (since from the beginning, Hans Zimmer and the RCP crew sped up the whole OST by 5%), the creator of those tracks slowed them down way too much.
I think one of the biggest logical flaws of the functions of that blog has not been discussed yet, and if I remember later in the week, I’ll put my thoughts out there about it.

TBH, having seen the movie, I dont think there was any major tracks left out of the commercial release. I honestly cant think of any parts missing.
Just wanted to make people aware that there is another blog out there that resembles the one that was shut down a while back. It couldn’t have been a replacement since it existed long before the other one was shut down. However, it does have quite a few of the same fakes that the shut down one housed. The differences are that this one is in German, and that there are no download links. There are only track lists–sometimes with track lengths and sometimes without. I hope alerting the people here doesn’t cause anything…wrong to happen.
I…have been meaning to respond to this since, well…April 16, lol. Hans Zimmer doesn’t object to these sorts of blogs likely because he doesn’t know they exist. He doesn’t have time to go around the low ends of the internet searching for websites and blogs that post or use his music with or without giving him credit. They exist for the fans. I do agree with that last part, though. You’re a special kind of fan to think it would be a good idea to generate false edits and try to pass them off as legitimate real things. People don’t CREATE or DO recording sessions, they obtain recording sessions. I’d say a fan like that is certifiably insane.
Out of sheer morbid curiosity, what exactly is wrong with the Lion King 2CD score? Is it just that 21-track bootleg (with the middle tracks from the stampede to reunion in mono) rearranged?
I don’t know what is/was wrong with that score specifically, but the moral of this story is that complete scores from Hans Zimmer or RCP don’t just materialize on the web like this blog believes they do (and thus forces other people to believe they do, as well). 90% of the stuff posted on the now-defunct blog, as well as that new one that just shows track lists but no download links, has been falsely expanded through some extent of trickery.
The Sherlock Holmes 2 edit reused material from the first Sherlock, which sure didn’t happen in the movie (and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 edit did the same thing, apparently). The Inception edit tried so hard to remove SFX from DVD audio (in order to label it "Music from the Demo Recording Sessions") that I imagine by the time the creator finished it, his eyes were bloodshot beyond repair and he had a horrible case of hemorrhoids. And the other 10%? Stuff that has exclusively come out of the Shrine like Metrotokyo’s TRON edit.
Apparently, no one here knows about the Inception Isolated Score that is on the DVD apart from you. Please explain.
oops… 😀
He doesn’t have time to go around the low ends of the internet searching for websites and blogs that post or use his music with or without giving him credit. They exist for the fans.
I believe that, still, it seems a big blog, so well-known to the remote control productions?
But as long as they don’t do illegal things, no one will bother to take the time…and after all lawyers are expensive!?
So, uh, you’re not gonna answer this…Or what? I mean, I’m being totally serious: you’re apparently the only one who knows about it, and I’m waiting for you to say what you know about it. It isn’t just the bonus features that can be found in my edit as well as at the end of Garage’s edit, is it? Technically, I guess, that score is isolated, but it is also just a random smattering of unreleased, incomplete clips of music that features some rather bizarre and uncorrectable distortion (that is unless you fight distortion with distortion in which case the quality comes out sounding like sh*t but that’s a different matter).
JOKERXXX IS A FAKE PERSON, HE DOES NOT EXIST. HE DOES NOT HAVE ANYTHING OF VALUE WHATSOEVER, HE DOES NOT HAVE INCEPTION/LAST SAMURAI… NOTHING. Jokerxxx is invented by a forum member called Garage. He keeps denying it, but Garage and Joker happen to make the same English mistakes, happen to write in the same way and also happen to havethe same things! I devised a plan to get Inception, and he keeps inventing excuses and asking people I know to give him Inception, because he doesn’t have a single thing himself. Garage claims Joker doesn’t reply to him anymore, yet he knows everything my people tell to Jokerxxx.
But Garage wasn’t even satisfied with only inventing Joker to fool people. No, he also invented Nick Halbert, a guy who is supposed to have all the Harry Potter sessions, but every time you give these ‘people’ something, ‘they’ say it’s not what ‘they’ were looking for and just profit from other people’s rare stuff.
So, guys, once and for all, IGNORE JOKERXXX! Don’t trade, because you won’t get anything. I am sure Inception is owned by some people, but certainly not Joker.
Is he the person who owns a blog that claimed to have the same Inception complete score etc.?

No shit, Captain Obvious. We were all just so confused, but we are glad you could provide the clarification.
Can a mod please merge this thread with this one: Thread 96411 We don’t need two separate threads dedicated to this evil son of a bitch.
