Hey, nobody is saying you're wrong, i'm merely... stupidly, maybe... suggesting to see things under a different light, there's not much an uploader can do about the greedy-silent-bastard who grabs stuff without saying/writing a simple thanks, and there's no reason to give that much of a damn about the whole ordeal... Understood, but it's not just that. When you upload something and share it here and find that it's been downloaded almost 100 times and not 1 "thank you", nor even a single comment...that can bother some people.

I'm not perfect (and neither is anyone else), but I *TRY* my best to remember to thank people for sharing.

Let's agree to disagree, then, we obviously have different takes on the matter ;) Personally, at least with the stuff i shared (i've still working links for stuff which dates back to November 2003), i've seen the likes of Google/FilesTube do a pretty fine job at indexing "old" threads & links, and if the leechers come and are able to download stuff.... they're actually helping with keeping download links working, so they deserve some thanks, too :)

Again, this is just my opinion, but i think that on this kind of place everyone is perfectly entitled to ignore requests, regardless of their form... After all, if we don't want to share we can avoid it, without being blamed... either.

What's the difference since someone heard your request and took 2 hours (that how long it is for me) for uploading and reply to it, not mentionning you involve your IP in this process - wich hasn't been a problem until now as far as we know... It's general knowledge, EVERYONE should know to say thanks when directly asking. It may just be me, but I especially notice this becuase I work in retail. When someone doesn't thank me for asking me to do something for them, it gets to me

I don't have a problem with it, either... Nothing bad in sharing opinions (and, as far as i know, a forum's main purpose IS to host discussions)... It's just that i get this feeling i'm a firmly believer of my POV, and i'd go as far as saying that this discussion isn't likely to change it, we'll both stand by our opinions and end up repeating the same things over and over again to each other :D That's not to say i think your views are wrong, i simply see no real reason to view things in such BAD way. This is the Internet, and while it may be considered an extention of the real world, its 'power' allows others to be... rude... for example, amongst other things.... to those people: I get it. It sucks if you feel unappreciated, but as was said before - if you go out looking for kudos as "payment" for uploads, you're going to be disappointed. For the better part of the last 3 years I've been a moderator on a forum with close to 100,000 members. So I'm used to being viciously attacked for trying to help out, never mind simply never thanked. Guys, I'm having major problems with the download, it's just freezing constantly every 5 minutes, and if I pause the download, the whole thing dies. Is it a problem with me or has someone else experienced it before?

Basically, it's just being tempramental...

Rapidshare now restricts download speeds for free users. This can cause pausing, which can result in downloads failing.

Jdownloader seems to handle this okay.

I've tried to download this 3 times without JDownloader and it's failed. OK, if this doesn't work, I will ask someone to make an alternate onto Mediafire. Getting it again this time normally since JDownloader's being detected as malicious software on my comp and it won't download/open/install.

Ahh frustrating sometimes it seems like a rapidshare link is no different than a dead link. Not being able to resume downloads while rapidshare stops them whenever they feel like causing a restart means most people won't be able to get it.

I think I like complete, but not FLAC. Storage-wise. So if I don't find mp3 elsewhere I guess I'll convert it myself.

It is FLAC, but a transcode, so MP3 quality with FLAC's size.

I suspect you are having trouble seeing. The link in the first post IS LONG DEAD.

The link you should be clicking on is in post 587 (2 posts above yours).

The site you were directed to WAS a real site.. or you wouldn't have been able to get there.

Also, people don't upload links, they post them. They upload files. Links become inactive, that is part of life.

well i went thru 24 pages to get to this link... finally. ha! but i do thank u. after going thru several 100 pages looking for at least something i could find to dl i finally found something someone was kind enough to share. incredible. wow. i love sndtrcks and im very much into having as complete versions as i can get. i dont care if theyre official or not.. i just want original scores by composers that i enjoy. i originally joined this site looking for a sndtrck to a film that came out in 78 where the sndtrck only existed on lp til recently. and evidently it is now expanded to a 2 cd set. im hoping to get it soon so i can put it on cd for someone before monday so i can give it to him as a gift. but i do want to thank theslap971 for this item here. finally a link that worked. i hope the passwords work.

Yes, what are you missing ?. If you are using the link on page 1, post 1... that is 3 years old and long dead. If you are not then it helps if you say which link you are using, as this thread is 25 pages long.

I followed those instructions and it's asking me to download instantly with a social networking site (One Click Download). Usually sites like this just download the file without asking for you to do so via social network which by the way I don't have anymore.

It doesn't do that for me. I've just tried it again, and it is exactly as illustrated by me in post 612.

What I don't explain myself it's why there are so many differents complete scores out there.

I dicovered this one today that it's the real complete score, but I had already a version without a track in every disc, so with 56 track instead 58, why does anybody want to remove two tracks and share it?

I was able to download the .rars successfully but I can't open them... it says the file (I'm assuming it means the contents) is not fully supported. Is it a bad download or something I'm doing wrong trying to open it?

I think you need to select all the folders together & extract, rather than one at a time.
