do you know that hella kewl song at the star when tidus is playing blitzball, and again when when your fighting Jecht, its sooooo kewl.

It is called Otherworld,I have it on CD(yep its a great song).
In the song they realy sing"1000 jears awaits you" or something.

It’s called "Otherworld" and if you type "Final Fantasy mp3" into a search engine it shouldn’t be too hard to find a place to download it. The lyrics are at gamefaqs.com. (I think they’re cool, so I’ll cut-paste them here for you. 🙂 You have to love the subtle references to FFX’s plot. "One thousand years… pray to the fayth… fill me with sin…")

ok i have read this like 4 time fujin and I just got what you meant by the 100o years thing and the pray to the faith and stuff.
I feel so dumb! Actually the whole song goes along with it…the anger towards Tidus’ father…getting taken to another world….ugh….whole bunch of stuff. Was it made just for FFX? It’s a really neat song. I thought it was Rob Zombie or someone at first. ^^. I have heard Asunder in FFX (a ronso said it I think….) and its in the song too…what’s it mean?

I’m not sure if it’s in the FFX OST, chances are it is… but I’ve yet to get it.

Snow, don’t feel stupid. The only thing I picked up on the first time around was "1000 years." That’s what made me think the song might actually be about FFX’s plot, so I read the lyrics a few times searching for FFX-related phrases. There are probably some other references that I missed.

The Tidus and Yuna song is "Suteki da ne," which is Japanese for "It’s wonderful, isn’t it?" I’m not even going to try analyzing the lyrics to that one because I barely know enough Japanese to understand the title. Gamefaqs might have a translation but I’m too lazy to look it up.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that AFAIK Uematsu wrote it, so it’s specifically for FFX. And "asunder" means ripped or torn apart.

Thank you so much…when I finished the game lastnight (yay I finished it!! Whoohooo! Now I don’t know what to do with myself!! >.<) I went through the credits to see anymore songs and those 2 came up. I downloaded some songs off of Kazza and somemore came up like the Hymn and stuff. I think it’s so neat. i love FF’s choice of music…even if I don’t understand Japanese. It’s still neat. Thanks again!
