perfect ending.. (not sure if there are spoilers)

what do you actually need to get a perfect ending? all the dresspheres? all sidequests? hehe.. coz i skipped a few.. =\

Ah, but okay… in a nutshell: 100% completion via either one game or any combination of playthroughs via New Game Plus. Complete both the meeting with Maechen in Chapter 3 and the whistling event at the end of Chapter 3 on your current playthrough and hit X to call for the Fayth while Yuna is alone on the Farplane Abyss after the Chapter 5 Complete display and answer Yes when it asks a question.

so i dont actually have to complete all the sidequests and get all the dresspheres?
well.. i know i do have to complete most of the sidequests.. =\

I’d like to point out it is impossible to get 100% on one game. You need to give the sphere to both New Yevon and Youth League during Chapter 2

Wrong. It’s possible, but difficult. Also, you can only do it if you give the sphere to the youth league.

junkie — you are right on the dresspheres. Dresspheres are completely unrelated to percentage completion. Unless gaining one is actually part of a sidequest or dialogue event, then you don’t have to get it — I.E. Dark Knight, Samurai, etc. are examples of dresspheres you could miss and still get 100%

As for the sidequests, yeah, pretty much all of them, but you might be able to skip one or two if you go the New Game Plus route and give the sphere to a different group, the complete some additional events related to that group.
