Sin City: A Dame To Kill For
I was expecting Marilyn Manson to show up as a brand new character written for the film.
I don't know. So much has changed that I don't resonate with the velocity of the character's craziness and suicidal lifestyles.
The first one was cool when I was younger.
But, now, it's like watching everything Jay & Silent Bob...
Just... meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh.
I just couldn't get excited over the action, grittiness, candor, sex, violence and deaths.
:shudder: Those were not flattering lights for Eva Green's georgeous face.
Had to watch Kingdom of Heaven again right after.
The next one should have Marylin Manson and Lady Gaga in it.

For me it would be Les Miserables. Not because of the movie not good, just it's not my cup of tea. I couldn't get what they were talking about in the movie as the whole conversation in the movie was in singing tune. But most of my friends enjoyed the movie a lot while I just sitting there and wait for the movie to end.

A completely incoherent story line, bad acting and bad production. The only thing that was entertaining was the comments from Joel, Tom Servo and Crow as this was one of the movies in a recent Mystery Science Theater 3000 purchase I made.

I agree that Ghosts of Mars was bad (particularly because of the points of view scenes from every character) but John Carpenter directed the original The Thing in 1982 and Matthijs van Heijningen Jr. directed The Thing prequel in 2011.

Not the worst animated movie ever, but The Good Dinosaur is probably Pixar's worst film to date.
I really hope that Pixar (and Disney or any other film study for that matter) learns from the bizarre scene in the film (you'll know what I mean when you see it) that they will not put any other sort of scene in their movies from now on.
A fruit scene that is completely out of context and makes no sense whatsoever. Would that really do that to you? It seems as though all of the other elements in every other Pixar film made sense and was completely believable as such but then this comes through. And like I said, considering the movie's mixed reception and currently underperforming box office numbers, that must tell you something. Its not that big of a stretch to suggest that this scene could have tainted people's feelings towards the rest of the movie (even if it actually did get better after this scene), also bringing other complaints about it to a brighter light when otherwise they may have been disregarded.
I cannot believe that anyone would even think that you'd want something like that. They actually had the sense to cut a similar Cars 1 Deleted scene that thankfully got changed to something not only less disturbing but more functional for the story in the final film. Seeing something ridiculously bizarre (not to mention pointless and about as "out there" as you can go) happen to characters that you love just smugs you and makes you never look at them the same way again. There are appropriate ways to tell the story and create humour with it than to resort to bizarre adult referenced humour. They have done that in the past with all of their other films which from the look of things are going to be a lot more successful and memorable then this will be.
It is also unchallenging and unimaginative that they have to result to desperate, bizarre humour just to tell a story. They have discarded these kind of elements from their movies in the past, and all of their movies before now would probably have not been as memorable or celebrated had they kept those elements in. They have created movies that challenged them and brought out the bestow their imaginative thoughts before now. Was the delay in production enough to tear it out of them? Yet, they revamped the entire movie of Toy Story 2 (aka my favourite movie and the movie that made me want to get into making movies (and NOT animated movies for that matter, just movies in general)) in 9 months when it was normally a 4 year process. Here they revamped the entire movie in 2 years and 3 months. What happened? Did they forget the process that they went through and how that film turned out? While others may not like it as much as me, consider the following facts:
Toy Story 2 has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes
It won the Golden Globe for Best Picture (as in for ANY movie in general, period)
It made pretty close to $500 Million at the box office
I've yet to meet one soul (online or not) who was disappointed in it. Even those who normally hate sequels say that they loved this one. "The rare sequel that is just as good or better than its predecessor." I've also met many people who even say that they liked this one better than Toy Story 3 and consider it one of Pixar's best.
Now let's look at The Good Dinosaur:
78% on Rotten Tomatoes (even lower on other critic sites)
Pretty much the lowest opening in Pixar's history (and considering that ticket prices are more expensive and it has the 3-D element, the movie's opening should be higher than the movies which were released in 2D, which were more than half of the previously released ones)
Quite a lot of people (even those that did like it) have called it disappointing or even "meh" and most have agreed that they would have cut this messed up bizarre scene out of the movie.
Bottom line is that Pixar could have challenged themselves and put more imaginative input into this movie like they have in the past. All reviews and reactions that I have seen towards this movie state that they didn't even find that it felt Pixarish.
And by the way, Inside Out earlier this year had the biggest opening (excluding Toy Story 3) of all time for Pixar and the biggest opening for an original movie AND the biggest opening for a second place at the box office movie. It was loved by most and you would think that this fact along with the popularity of dinosaurs, fuelled by the to grossing movie of the year (and the top 3 highest grosser of all time), that it would be enough to make this movie do better and even receive a better acclaim.

Its not so much that they hallucinated but what the images were of when hallucinating. The Pink Elephants sequence did not do anything to Dumbo yet here we see Arlo and Spot in a very bizarre way that makes me never think about them the same way again. And again, the fact that they hallucinated (in a way that did not make any sense at all for the record) when it seemed very out of place like it was not even part of the same movie and for no real reason to have it in there makes me disturbed. I know Pixar can do better than this. Like I said there was a very disturbing deleted scene that they cut from Cars 1 that would have been funny to some but what they had in the final film was not only more creative and challenging but it still created more humour and felt more natural and appropriate for the movie. While I can disregard this scene through simple fan editing, whats to say that something like this will occur in Toy Story 4 or another Pixar film? It may not be so easily edited away or disregarded next time.

The Walk (2015) (

Worst accent ever.
JGL only looks like he strolled off the set of his buddie's movie set (Seth Rogan's) and just put on something which he thought he was doing for Seth McFarlane.
The accents are horrible and overthetop.
Every time he talks, I keep hearing myself making of the accent with all the "oui oui, uh-huh-huhhh!" that I learned from Warner Brothers cartoons.
Everything was shot for bluescreen, too.
So that was too obvious.

Budget accounts for a lot.

I know I'm gonna piss off a lot of people, but i would have to say My Neighbor Totoro, Pom Poko, and Spirited Away. I do like how studio ghibli make it look pretty and all, but they're SOOOO fucking long and boring and nothing happens. Totoro nearly made me wanna kill myself. I do get that the simplicity adds to the charm of the film, and the Totoro character is an icon (i see plush toys of him everywhere) but I hated it. Pom Poko could have been summed in 30 minutes. and Spirited Away, again way too long and nothing happens. But, however, I do like Porco Rosso, Princess Mononoke and Nausicaa as they have action and the characters are quite badass, especially Porco. But again, they suffer the length issue.

Once again, I disagree (nothing personal :)
Apparently, the real Philippe Petit doesn't have a "regular" french accent, he has his own special way of talking.
That's what Gordon-Levitt said in an interview, and since he spent a lot of time with him, he was able to imitate him quite well apparently.
Also the parts where he actually speaks French, he pretty much sounds french, unlike James Badge Dale, who I couldn't understand at all when he spoke french.
And I think the movie was beautifully shot, it was obviously made for 3d, and it was a great 3d experience.
Everything leading up to the walk was very suspenseful, kinda like a heist movie, and I was on the edge of my seat during the actual walk!
In short, I really liked it :)

I usually can find something redeemable in any movie, but I turned off the Green Hornet after 30 minutes or so.
Some movies are so bad, you keep on watching just to see if they can pull off something - after a little bit of the Green Hornet I really didn't care one way or another.

Adding Hail, Caesar! to the list. This movie made absolutely no sense at all. The plot was all over the place because there pretty much was no plot. It was like there were different writers for this movie that combined completely different ideas and mashed them together and made a movie out of it. It was also very misleading to label it as a "comedy" because it was anything but that. I've seen it with my grandma and aunt and they knew the 50's references and everything and even they thought it was bad too. Not worth $7 that's for sure. We should have asked for our money back.

So, I've seen Manos and Monster A-Go-Go, but it was in the company of an astronaut and his two robot pals, so I actually found myself enjoying both films. I would imagine, however, that Manos without a wise-cracking commentary would be difficult to make all the way through.
The Room is a good one, though one could argue that one's sooooo bad it was intentional. I would never think of C Me Dance as a movie anyway, more like a half-assed-after-school-special-part-dream-part-Christian-propaganda-homeschool-project. Not that there's anything wrong with after-school-specials (or even Christian propaganda for that matter) as such can be entertaining in unintentional ways. Basically, C Me Dance wasn't a movie, someone accidentally smeared shiyt on a film reel and a group actually produced it.

The are SO MANY really, really bad movies around (old and new ones), so its hard to tell, wich one is the worst one.
But for me personally, the worst and really most disappointing film i`ve saw in the last few years was (sadly) EPISODE 8.
Because there was so many potential (creative & financially) in the background and the freedom to made things much better as they did in EPISODE VII (wich was not great but absolutly ok) and because had some expectations.
But they made it much WORSER!
What R. Johnson made of LAST JEDI let me came out of the cinema and thought: "What the f..... was that"?
This movie left me with a VERY bad feeling in my mouth and I thought: "The STAR WARS i allways liked has
seem to exist and i`am absolute not interested to see Episode IX".
Not so good, if the middle part of a trilogy lay of you with the feeling, there can`t be an interesting story for the next part.....
I`ve seen a lot bad movies, but in the last few years none of them disappoints me so unexpected like LAST JEDI.
So for me its "the worst movie ever" because for me it destroys the legacy of Star Wars ;-)
But well, it`s (like everything) a question of taste.
At least, i could enjoy the music of John Williams.

It's always tough to come up with "worst movie"
is it the movie that is so dire it's unwatchable, even tho you'd expect it to be exactly that based on the (lack of) talent involved?
If so, I'd proffer up "Bolero"; a stunningly bad piece of crap; but it's pretty much what you should expect
or is it the film with the most talent and chance to be great that ends up being a steaming turd?
If so I'd suggest "The Wicker Man" (the Cage remake of course) or another remake, the Coen Bros "The Ladykillers"
Both were absolutely appalling, made even more shocking by the talented writers, directors and casts involved
and by how great the original movies were...

I couldn't stand the Left Behind movie that I got dragged to with my father and stepmother, and Soul Survivor(which I only watched cause I'm an Eliza Dushku fan) was just a total failure to me. The directing/cinematography and acting was good, but it just fell flat for me. It seemed to be one of those movies that look good on paper, but the actual execution is doomed to never work, no matter what.
I agree that Avatar the last Airbender was crap...I wanna know why they got M. Night Shamalyan to direct a movie based on a kid's cartoon(which I did like btw). And trying to condense a whole season into one regular length movie is not gonna work.
And movies based off books where they only thing they have in common with each other is the name kinda makes me not like them. If they think the book is so good, don't eff with it, except for necessary changes due to the different mediums.
Also any movie that's supposed to be 'feminist'. As a woman, I find the whole concept of feminism to be jokingly offensive.

Worst film to date... TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT. Just so dreadful in so many ways, especially the annoying lack of choice for one aspect ratio. Oh! There might have been a story in there somewhere.

When I say Michael Bay I'm pretty much covered. No need for a list, oh well...Bad Boys II was really really bad.
...although 'The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford' took some hours of my life I won't get back too..

Ready Player One... just trash for kids.
The only cool thing is all the references: "Ohh look!"
The same can be said about the anitque of the director.
Stick to old people doing old things.

Justice League I think for the worst movie I paid to see at the cinema (how I wish i could swap that two hours to watch Wonder Woman or Dark Knight Rises instead), maybe the worst I've seen. I consider myself a Marvel fan but I also enjoy certain DC movies such as the Batman trilogy and Wonder Woman. JL was a disappointment cos I know that DC could've done so much better!!

Birdemic. Just look at the CGIs of the birds and the acting. It's horrible.

For me, it was the remake of the Day the Earth Stood Still. The joke about Keanu's acting being wooden must have come from this movie.
Irony is I've liked him in other stuff. But everything about that flick irritated me.

Blade Runner 2049...
2 and a half hours of pointless story.
The classic was fine, no need for a sequel.
I am a die hard fan of the first Blade Runner, to me this is one of the best movies ever made.
Part 2 is just a collection of slow moving cgi, with basically no story whatsoever. Plus the ost is a complete joke.
One of my prime examples of a bad movie: The Perfect Storm. It can be summed up in only 7 words: arrogant loser drowns and kills his crew.

So many bad movies, all the gender swap ones are pretty high on my list but the one that takes the cake is A Clockwork Orange. No matter what, it put me to sleep faster that a sleeping pill. I've tried to watch it over the years, an after 10 minutes, i'm out cold.

Ice Age 4 - so shit I haven't even seen it.
Happy Feet - tappidy tap, no one cares
Rio - rolling your r's at every moment does not make a good movie.

I just read a story people are walking out of the new Will Farrell film Holmes and Watson in droves. Some say they only last 10 minutes, others 30 mins. The studio knew it was going to be a disaster and tried to sell it outright to netflix, which thumbs downed

That's bullshit of course.
There is no one worst movie of all time. Period.
However, I can confidently claim that as far as film technique (camerawork, directing, acting, editing & dubbing) is concerned, it never got worse than this;

Not even Birdemic: Shock and Terror comes close to the level of ineptitude displayed in Manos: The Hands of Fate.

My vote goes to Killdozer, a 70s TV movie. It's literally about a bulldozer that wants to kill...

Conan the Destroyer: I saw it in the theatre when it came out, and it was the first time I ever had the overwhelming compulsion to get up and leave the venue. Sadly, I stayed.
The Sword and the Sorceror. Hideous.
Sucker Punch: ugh. Just ugh.
Others have mentioned Xanadu. The great OST with E.L.O. and the supremely delectable Olivia are worthy of at least
1.5/5 stars.
Back to the Future: the lines outside the theatre were comparable to those I remember at Star Wars (1977), but when I did get in to see it, the movie was mediocre at best.
Saturn 3 (1980) with Kirk Douglas. The lovely Farrah (RIP) elevated this to 1/5 stars.
Prometheus. Ridley's ever-masterly direction just barely kept this afloat. The writing was some of the most frustratingly stupid I've ever seen. I want to throttle the screenwriter and push him into a woodchipper.

Worst movie ever I mean how do you leave out the literally thousands of low-budget absolute schlock films made over the past 90 years that you wouldn't even think of watching. Not to mention actual considered quality films of some period that are so dated you can't even make it through a TV viewing (most recently for me that was African Queen with Bogart/Hepburn!). I don't think I've ever actually walked out of a cinema the closest I came was the dreadful Skyfall where not only is the dreadful Craig looking more like something from The Hobbit than Bond, Bond admits to homosexual encounter(s). That's not what I go to see a 007 movie for . . .

Back to the Future WAS mostly a waste of time but became intolerable when they decided to make a white kid the originator of Chuck Berry's guitar licks.

"Lost Horizon," the Ross Hunter debacle. The worst. Unless you're just dying for the latest Liv Ullman musical.
I think for me it would be Apocalipto.
I felt like it was very cheap entertainment. Like something straight out of SyFy. I found that everything that happened was either too predictable or too random. I didn't buy it.
Only finished it out of respect because somebody dear to me recommended it. I'd had stopped it 30 minutes in otherwise.

Sucker Punch - the first I ever thought "maybe movies do make people agressive enough to hurt other people". The story makes no sense at all, the only thing worth it was the cool version of "Sweet Dreams (are made of this)"
Dirty Dancing - what a load of rubbish. I will never get why people even like that movie: the goofs, the story, the romance. Just ugh!
