I'm stuck on 1 called Sinspawn Gui - he has way too much hp (12000!) is there a tatic to use except just hitting his arms and then body?

~~ Spoiler ~~
Is this before fighting him with Seymour or fighting him WITH Seymour? ^^;
Okies, without Seymour - When his head starts to move, just pummel him with magic and long-range attacks. Just keep on hitting his head until he dies and turns grey. Then, focus on the arms. ^-^ Bring out Auron and Kimahri and then let them take care of the arms, and let Lulu keep on casting some magic! =D
With Seymour - Stick to the plan above, except use Seymour instead of Lulu. Or use both. ^-^

ok thanks I managed to defeat it. 1 other question - I'm always low on ability spheres and end up missing a few abilities on the grid, is the only way to get them from random battles?

Well, seeing as your not that far in the game, that's the only way to get them right now. ^_^ But don't forget, you can always get back to the spheres you missed, so don't stock up on *too* much of them, you still needa play the game, yesh? :B

Actually... Its not! :)
Wakka can get the ability Ability Extract(or Extract Ability).
When he shoots a monster once with it, it will drop an Ability Sphere. It has never happened to me, that he did it and I got no Spheres.
But its a really great skill, as you are kinda low on Ability Spheres :)
-That boss! It totally rocked! :) It was more of a challenge, but not that hard. Got it in first shot and wooow, all the Sphere Levels you got for it?!
Almost all my characters got 1/3 stronger after that!

But you can only do that IF you are playing "Final Fantasy X: International. Otherwise, you need to do it the hardway.

Final Fantasy X: International?
Huh?!

There is no ability called Extract in the US version of FFX. :uh?: :rolleyes:

Extractor is most likely an FFX: International addition. In the US version, you need to purchase Ability Distillers and use them on the target and instead of dropping whatever they drop (ex. 2 Dark Matter) it switches the item w/ Abilty Spheres. However, you can only buy them laer on.
You can get ABility spheres from any enemies that seems to be larger then the other ones. Such as the one that uses Gore and is very strong (i think Dual Horn?) in Mi'hen. If i'm short on spheres, I NEVER pass that ability up and I keep fighting until I get some. Well since the Sphere Levels just add on, you can just keep going after the ability.

Ermm... Ehee... Owned? ;)
-Well, the ability is pretty cool and makes Wakka even more valuable, without screwing up the game balance.
But hey.. We all know that Square rules :)

Yeah, Rites, I'm afraid your wrong. Wakka doesn't have an ability called Extract. ^^; I guess he only does in FFX: International. I think you kinda confused them both, ne? ^_^;

I'm guessing their meaning anything not u.s, I missed the extract ability since I didnt have any ability spheres left at the time...

FFX international does not haf to be PAL...it is just an upgraded version of the game, with the expert sphere grid, the dark aeons, penance, some new skills like full break and so on.....

I think the PAL version is just about the same as the Int. version. I think they have the Dark Aeons, etc. But I could be wrong.
Heh, what's up with the major reviving of such a thread?

The way i kicked his ass the first time (without Seymour) was to use Auron, Tidus and Yuna. With Tidus and Auron beat the crap out of him with normal attacks while Yuna acts as a curer and occasionally uses an Aeon.

Seeing that this thread is way over a year old, I will have to close it. Reviving threads is a no, sorry guys. I sugest to make a new one if you want to continue on this.
