hey Jessie, on a side note. I want to learn how I can rip this 1 song from this game on the Dreamcast "Grandia 2". I have the 3 OSTs from the game but this 1 song still eludes me. I ripped the track directly from the disc, you won't get any better quality than what's on the disc. You'd need to download the iso anyway, dreamcast discs don't work on pcs.

It's the in-game version of "Fallout" (regular battle theme). I had checked the Xenosaga III Unreleased Tracks rip, but I think the ripper of that set didn't include it since it was a part of the original soundtrack. Although the tracks sound the same, there are subtle differences.

Do you have the game yourself? It's a bit too large for me to download for one track, but i'm pretty sure i can help you extract the music after looking at Xenosaga II.

Had a look at Shivers II, couldn't find the music in it. Found it all on youtube though, so you might try asking the person that uploaded them to upload them for you.

The rip is almost perfect, Almost for the track "Boss Battle" who has way better quality in game and when ripped directly from the emulator itself, you could play the game just to hear the track, is on the third, on the boss battle, like the title says =) if you wanna notice the difference.


I also suspect that the track "Bike Chase" is with the same problem but i never got to the actual level in the game.

im havin trouble with another download. i have used both programs, but none have helped. could u PLEASE mirror the soundtracks i have trouble downloadin from fileserve? i dont want to continously wait 15 minutes for a retry. the one im havin trouble with is Bust A Move 4 (PSX).

also, i downloaded Croc: Legend of the Gobbos and noticed the untagged tracks were still there. u need to delete those so there wont be a mix-up between the songs. it doesnt look like u tagged Croc 2, either...

I had completely forgotten about that, i found my game and all. Sound quality is pretty awul for the themes, just 24khz.

im gonna go out on a limb here and ask if u can do a better quality rip for Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy for the ps2. the one on gh has quality that doesnt sound as good as it should be.

That rip was recorded. Think the reason for that is because it might use sequenced music, like most naughty dog games and would need a psf2 rip.
