Why not use CDex? It's free and it does up to 320 VBR 44000, Stereo.
It can do flac... but the free version doesn't agree with it so much.

I use it in conjunction with Rapidshare & Mediafire, if you put the albums in a folder named something inconspicuous like say Star Trek as "Star Maps & constellations" they won't get rid of them quite so quickly.

I stumbled upon "Ghost Sweeper Mikami", appears to have the same composer of Cutie Honey Flash (I could be wrong here). Just happened to stumble upon it when I finally figured the theme I was looking for.

I would like to share some links that could help you out. But first, here's that Ghost Sweeper Mikami one. GSM appears to be another one of those classic animes from the 80s/early 90s regarding the traditional art design and music.

Anyways, I found this mediafire link to a soundtrack -- which is hillarious btw, because although yahoo search said the link was dead and there was no cache from it - it still reveale da mediafire link :>. But we got to see what this is about.

Considering that Cutey Honey theme, it was in fact a "Cutey Honey Flash OST1" theme, not "Shin Cutey Honey"; that kinda caught me off guard and I was searching for something that was actually in front of my nose the whole time lol.

I found this mega/rapid/mediafire search tool thing that helped me find the Cutey Honey Flash OST. I will share this link, but please be careful with it. I use Firefox with addons like noscript, flash-block and stuff like that -- reason, because sites like these could have hidden malicious stuff that could cause dmg to your beloved pc.
Nothign happend and I found nothing so far that is harmful, but just to warn you.

I used this search thing and it helped me find hidden stuff like total recall and cutey hony flash, etc. Should help you find stuff too. So, use with caution:

Again, my eternal thanks for your efforts on getting that track dude. I mean, from 1987 to now �.� Blast from the past.

By far, Scramble, Cruel System and Emergency are my faves.
Love that scene where those two dudes get blown into space via decompression - along with the music lol.

Surprisingly, the Cruel System theme @1:20 sounds different than the movie version. Unless the themes were overwhelmed by the sound-FXs... xD
Just cool stuff.

Now I really wonder what other 80s scifi underdog soundtracks are out there with similiar. I suppose Roots Search is similiar, huh?

Roots Search is more... minimalist... than Lily C.A.T., from what I've heard while watching the OVA. That's really just a polite way of saying that a lot of the music sounds kinda bare-bones with random synthy notes. It's okay, but far from being the best 80's OVA music ever. The end theme, "Labyrinth of Space," sounds quite good though.

Say, is there any chace that the soundtrack to the IGPX anime can be found? (assuming it hasn't been already) I'm looking more specifically for the orchestrations, as it seems Ninja Tune Records weren't the ones who made a few of them. The whole soundtrack would be fantastic, but if the orchestrations are included, that would be godly. :D

I tend to mix up certain game soundtracks to my anime soundtrack collection, due to or the artist in question or the related thing with anime.

I wish I could find the Sukeban Deka Soundtracks released in 2006, 2007 and 2008. They come with unreleased tracks.....:/ specially the ones I love the most. Dammit.

Damn, the list so un-updated. :/
2010, had some interesting soundtracks released. Panty and Stocking and Rainbow Nisha are really good, but Sengoku Basara 2 breaks all the walls of your house, specially with something like "This is a Fight to Change the World" song. :p

I finally got the Souryuden Cd dramas. Sadly, the firts one "Mirage City" has the soundtrack composed by Koichirou Kameyam, sad because there was not soundtrack release for that drama. He also composed the soundtrack for the drama cds Chrono Crusade, and some of may almost kill me, but I prefer the drama cds soundtrack then the the tv animation by Hikaru Nanase (and I love Hikaru Nanase soundtracks very much XD :p). The other 4 drama cds are another composer for the soundtrack wich in fact was released a soundtrack for it. I own it, but I have not yet ripped my Souryuden cds yet. After that a Souryuden thread may came in handy. ;)

Beyblade soundtracks were linked to my thread collection of it, but they are of very bad bitrate. Specially Beyblade G revolution one. I hope someone has these cds in better bitrate. I'm looking for the Beyblade G revolution soundtrack in better quality, well, that is the one of my first priority right now.

It's is just a short meaningless theme, but it did come in my mind that the earlier naruto soundtracks are stuffed with all sounds. I did not even see all of the vanilla Narutos so maybe it could be in the previous OSTs.

I think I have a few to snoop through :>. Just have to figure which ones are the BGM rather than JPop.

I recently found all of the Yoroiden Samurai Troopers soundtracks at Nether Realm 5.5 - [Main Page] (http://nether-realm.byethost17.com/) and at least a majority of the Sailor Moon soundtracks at SAILORMUSIC.NET (http://sailormusic.net/) and Sailor Moon Center | Eternal Light (http://sailormooncenter.net/3/music_files/). I hope this helps.

I don't have the full singles of either, but I do have the songs themselves... so yeah. ^^;

The original soundtrack of this Zoids series is saying "ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK 01" which makes me think there is "02" :/

Ok, my apologies. It tends to get very confusing because a lot of people say New Century and "Zoids" are the same while Chaotic Century is different and vice versa. In fact I thought American showings for New Century was titled just Zoids, could be wrong though, been a while. Anyway, I'll see if I have it elsewhere in my collection then. I'll just have to go by song titles I guess. :o

Ok, so from what my friend in Japan said, they released the OST 01 with the intent of releasing a second but they ended up not having enough songs to fit on a second album. That would explain why some songs aren't found on the OST 01. But alas, it seems there is no OST 02.

I have been founding that some soundtracks I had been looking for were last time subject to changes like, NO RELEASE. Like Sukeban Deka movie 2006. I was pretty sure I could find the soundtrack as DVD Bonus, but no. oh Well! :(

I really love this soundtrack very much. I dare say better then the new Matsuo Hayato one, but he did tried to relieve the sound up to the original, so it is not that bad. It is just that I hear more the TV Soundtrack :P

Hey, I was wondering, it doesn't seem you've been active on the Dirty Pair/Flash thread in a while. I just thought I'd mention that the links for Tenshi no Kyuusoku, Honki ni Shinaide, and Kokoro de Mitsumeteru are broken. Maybe you can fix them, if and when you get around to it.

I have been doing one thing at a time. I really need to re-up those files :/ and others that I am asked for. but I can't deal with all at the same time.

Well, in my search I found the four drama CDs for $75. I just don't have the money right now. >.> I'll keep an eye on it though and keep looking.

I can get volumes 1 and 4 for about $12 each. Not sure about shipping though, probably about $15-20.
