I think I can certainly do that. Be patient for about two weeks, and everything will have calmed down for me to get it done.

I only recorded teh entire series whne it was broadcasted on tv, even so, I missed teh last episodes.
If you could get it whitout voices and loop it a little. That theme is really damn addcitive for me.

actually, the dvds seem to be still available in france, where I live. I'll have to see how much they cost on good ol' amazon and if I can afford them, I'll buy them, rip'em to death ;) and try to clean the soundtrack. but, alas, as i'm no sound engineer but a simple student in cultural heritage preservation and valorisation, I may not be able to do it quite well or quite soon. Wait and see I guess.

Well, I haven't had the time (nor the money, I must say) to buy those DVDs. and nobody seems to have ripped the DVD audio. sooooo...nothing new. :(

But as soon as my internships is over, that I'm done with my intership report and presentation of said report, i'll buy myself the DVDs to celebrate (or to forget, depends on the outcome ! :D)

If someone had the time, patience and decent music production programs, they could theoretically remake the music for the missing tracks. Just a thought.

Even though, these initiatives are quite rare. To my knowledge, only a few, very popular animes had that luck: Mysterious cities of Gold (Yannick Rault re-did all the musics, and he's working on a new, improved version), and more recently Ulysse 31, whose music has been entirely redone by David Colin, with an official cd release around December. Even for TV show, this is rare. Airwolf and Streethawk had that chance, but I guess that's all...

We need to find some ways to rip the missing tracks.

The DvDs are still available in france. As soon as I have some money I'll buy them and rip them...if it is possible. I don't know what type of sound has been used, whether it is 2.0, 4.0 or 5.1.

The one way I think we can do it, will be the one that will ask all of dedication in time and love for it.

I have been working on collecting all unreleased tracks of Sukeban Deka Tv drama.
I ripped the from the avi files, a lot of tracks that where the same song. What I did was to know the song well and gone in the process of cutting in 3 parts and then combining it so I would have 1 track only with no voices or sounds.
I did the cut in 3 parts, because I was looking for the most clean part without voices or sounds. I cut here, there, and voil�. :)
Now, thing that is bitch, is those tracks that only appear ONCE and you cannot do nothing about sfx :/. I have that problem in some tracks. The only thing I thougt was to put it in "Drama Section".
I use Mp3 Editor Pro. To cut the and combine the files. I also used my eyes and hears. Yes, because I got sick of one week of seeing audio frequencies. XD

I don't like to work from AVIs. I prefer a DVD source. I rip the sound using DVD audio extractor, then I use Audacity for the editing. I've done a couple expanded score like that for my own personnal pleasure, I'll release them someday on the film download forum. But nothing extraordinary.

Hard to believe that its going to be 6 years now, close to 6 years that ive searched for this song....
