Back then, I passed on the 1988 Volcano album, but I was excited when Intrada released a 23-track album of the score (no crappy songs, 75 minutes of score!) a year later. I was not disappointed, the beloved themes were all there and even expanded with a nice and subtle ethnical touch, the orchestration was first class. I had not seen the film at the time, but the music felt much more refined than the film it illustrated and quite the departure from �Rambo: First Blood Part II�. I particularly liked the �Peshawar� track. It really felt like Mr. Goldsmith was happy to return to the Rambo franchise after a 3-year hiatus. PM sent.

Received and Thank You! Not ever my favorite Rambo soundtrack suddenly has become a real contender. Both the expansion and the remastering have really raised this one in my opinion. So I'm doubly appreciative of this great early Easter present. Hope the Bunny is extra good to you this year!
