Vinyl releases are being hunted down in particular.
I've read some news the other day that a popular vgm channel on YouTube received too many strikes because of Streets of Rage. They sent a strike for each music track. Just because Streets of Rage received a vinly release as well.
I'm afraid the PM-only approach is the only way to prevent him from re-uploading the stuff every day.

You should definitely open them the shrink wrap on records will warp them over time and can ruin their value. My suggestion to you would be to unwrap those ASAP.

If the composers wanted me to support them, then they should have released their product in a way in which I could actually consume it. I do not own a vinyl player, nor do I have the ability to afford one. I could afford, however, to buy the album digitally, which by anything resembling common sense should have been an option from the get-go. It is ridiculous for them to request its removal when you are providing a better service than they are.

So Blizz still haven't released this in Lossless on any platform have they ? I bet they were like "What is the best way we can piss Starcraft fans off ? Oh yeah let's do a premium release on a medium barely anyone can play!"

I encourage people to extract OGG's from the game's MPQ files, it's lossy but atleast this way you can listen to the music on your own terms.

Hm... I missed my chance. These are not easy to get, but of course it's not yours or blizzards problem. But to be honest - if it weren't for this place I wouldn't purchase much on the market.
Places like these made me not a 'pirate' but a client. I've spent so much money to get the things I love most - artist's music. If that StarCraft Remastered album was on the market - I would be the first to purchase it. But it's rarely on eBay for 150 pounds and goes very quickly, not only it is limited but it's as a vinyl record.

Here is a release that I have been working on for a little bit in my spare time. This is fully recorded and mastered from my own copy of the vinyl. Super limited only 1,000 of these made. I assure you will find no hiss or pops in this recording. That is the guarantee I am wanting to make going forward with future VGM Vinyl projects that I upload. All releases will be in lossless format, so if you require MP3 files you can convert them easily with Foobar, FLAC Squisher, or dBpoweramp.
