Must be from western animation since I don't know anime and I want to recognize the character.

Nope, it's 100% genuine and inspiring to anyone that's stuck with it (ManRay can back me up here).

I know it might look silly, and the first couple of episodes can mislead, but it is a great show.

The Show touches upon a lot of Adult Themes like Genocide, Murder, toxic Relationships, Discrimination and yes, also LGBTQ.

Nothing to get your Panties twisted in a Bunch in 2016, unless you're living in the Bible Belt...

It's got a PG Rating,which is a bit low to me, i'd say the Show should be Ages 12 and up,
you know, the impressionable Age where seeing a Women kissing another One on the Cheek
turns your Daughter into a Hardcore Dyke for Life...

Just keep your Eyes and Ears out of the Fandom and everything is fine, as is par for the Course nowadays,
radical Femnazis and Social Justice Warriors on Tumblr and other Places will give everything a bad Name...

To me, the Show is wonderful, it's got clever writing, beautiful Music, hugely likeable Characters, nice Animation...
