You see, I wouldn't know that. I only saw the first Narnia.
That's excusable. I've seen them all, but a nice rewatch wouldn't do me bad, they are great movies. I've got the first two in Blu-ray only need me the third.
SparkTank will like this comment; I wish there was a version of this movie in 2:40 for Blu-ray. I know the 1:78 of the Blu-ray is an OPEN MATTE, but sue me I like 2;40 widescreen more enough. Funny though, the times I watched it at TV they were showing it in the 2;40 version..
Thought So, I Reconised His Face.
I actually kinda wouldn't have if I hadn't searched it! It's tough.

The photo at the end would have been nice, too.
When it's zoomed out. Not the final shot zoomed all the way in.
Actually, a lot of the shots are iconic.
Even the hallways with the rugs. Everyone remembers how you hear his little bike making noise on the hardwood and then soft and silent on the carpets.
That's one of the greatest things I love about the film is how Kubrick establishes the atmosphere and the isolation of the gigantic hotel.
That feeling of being absolutely alone where no one can hear you scream, like space! :awsm:
It helps add a lot to the rest of the progression of Jack's madness.

Wait, I thought Days of Future Past (I'm assuming that's what you mean by 'DOF') was a good movie. That's what I've heard others say, at least. I haven't seen it yet.
I thought X-Men Origins: Wolverine was an okay movie. I saw it when it came out. Probably with the least of the franchise, though.

My friend wouldn't know that. She only knows the remake because of Michael Pitt.
And she knows him because of "The Dreamers". And she knows that because of all the sex and full frontal nudity in it.
And incest.
Eva Green is in "The Dreamers" with Michael Pitt. It's hard to see her with so much clothes on in recent films knowing how liberal she was.
Especially for a kids movie.
Also in the remake to Funny Games: Tim Roth and Naomi Watts.
I don't think my friend would know any name execpt Michael Pitt. She could probably come to learn Eva Green once that School of Mutants movie comes out.

Freelance is indeed a good word.
Explains the radios and fancy laptop for forensic use. It's not a casual laptop.
All right. Spit out what you think the two films are.

forensic
In the context that it's used to trace things down to an origin rather than solving anything.
Forensic evidence is discovered by someone and given to a detective with other facts to solve a mystery.
Except here, it's exploitive of the forensic technology available.

Day time movie:
The Place Beyond the Pines
Night time movie:
Nightcrawler
My brother was going to school to be a journalist.
But he couldn't stand Nightcrawler. It was very cutthroat Hollywood to negatively portray the media for the sake of a twisted story.
Natural Born Killers is a more apt depiction of how sick the media can get. Oliver Stone is a genius.
My brother pointed out the ethics the movie would have to break for a legit media business. But then with the CNN for USA and BBC for the UK, no one really likes the media that much, anyway.

"corrupt police" was the extra clue that narrowed it down a lot.
A movie with a 'motorbike' is too vague.
I know The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo drives a bike throughout.
And there is a great deal of corruption.
But police made it extensively narrow. :smrt:
Nightcrawler showed up earlier in searches, but the way you worded it to sound like a contract killer made it difficult.
Again! Again!

There's been activity from lurkers who seem to want to play.
Just free for all it so they have a chance.

Yeah, the hint I gave for The Place Beyond the Pines was probably a bit too specific, and the one for Nightcrawler I should've phrased differently.
Sorry, I took so long to reply, but I wanted to take some celebratory bonus screenshots from The Place Beyond The Pines!

All from during the montage scene where the police officers are being arrested after recently being exposed.

I don't think I've watched that before.
I should rewatch TBTP. The first time I grabbed it, I was new to HD and had a microHD copy.
And then it got corrupted so i couldn't finish it.

:rofldata: The file itself got corrupted to the point where it broke.
That actually looks funny, considering the theme is about corruption. Haha.
I'm just taking screenshots of a nice little flick for future use.
It's only available on DVD so I have to inverse telecine the video first to get it back to 23.976 and then crop any black borders and clean up the picture a bit.
Because it's older and a lot more indie, the picture transfer isn't that clean so the borders are dirty and need fixing to remove any leftover black borders.
For sake of screenshots, I'm resizing to the intended sample aspect ratio instead of leaving it as the display aspect ratio (which would look squished as it's anamorphic).

Here's that DVD one I was fixing.
I took a lot of screenshots and upped to SomeImage since they allow thumbnail albums.
Imgur can lag since they load the full image so browsing there is only recommended if you can wait for the page to load.
It's an indie film. Not too recent but not too old either.

LOL for you maybe, I have never seen Nightcrawler but I have seen The Place Beyond the Pines...once.
It's more fun for me if there is something to go. Remembering a random object from a movie you thought you knew well is frustrating.
