I myself am a big fan of the Rattle/Birmingham version. Rattle is slower than others but he is the best (in my opinion) in presenting the countless colours of Ravel's instrumentation and the lush atmosphere. Listen to the Levi/Atlanta recording - there you have a very mediocre version.

Oh, might I have a link? I only own the sister CD release (on SACD in fact) Boulez did for Deutsche Grammophon and I've always been interested in his take on Daphnis.
