None of the Legacy releases were complete. They may have thrown in more tracks, but it clearly wasn't enough. So thankful for the sessions and Metrotokyo edit being out in the open. The same can happen with Force Awakens. Were any of the sessions for the other Star Wars films ever surfaced.

Expanded version? Isn't it like your interpretation of that scene? It's very nice and has a cool hint of something mysterious in it but it doesn't sound as dark as the original.

Williams recent interviews really do suggest he's been working a lot harder over a long period of time on this film, vs the Prequel scores, which were middling to okay at best. Sounds like he got to tweak stuff over a longer period of time than being rushed into a short recording session, which is cool. Going to be interesting to see his first non-Spielberg score since, what... Memoirs of a Geisha?

I think it is fair to say the chance of this score leaking early is slim to none and slim already left town. Disney probably has the digital version of the Iron Curtain around it and as others have learned, one does not mess with the House of Mouse.

Well on December 17th I am going to see The Music of Star Wars: Episodes I-VI performed by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. So I don't really care that I'm not going to be one of the firsts to see the film.

Of course I am. With my brother. We wanted the 7PM show (Episode VII at 7PM had a nice significanct ring to it), but we only got our tickets last week so it was sold out. 8PM show. And surely I won't be the only one here seeing it opening night.

It's hard not to get excited. It's not just a John Williams score, it's a John Williams Star Wars score. The Star Wars scores for Episode 1-6 are without a doubt some of the most iconic scores ever made, the score for The Force Awakens has a very strong chance of joining them. People aren't overhyping it at all. It's a Star Wars score by John Williams. It's guaranteed to be great and we don't know if Williams will score Episode 8, 9 and any of the spin-offs. There's plenty of reason for people to be excited. It's not just a John Williams score. It's a Star Wars score by John Williams. And the sound and music of these films are the most iconic aspects. Would the films be anyway near as iconic without Williams' score with tracks like Duel of the Fates and The Imperial March? I doubt it.

People love Star Wars and are very excited for the movie, John Williams is a hugely loved composer and most people are very excited for each of his scores. It's not surprising the excitement for both together has led people to be really excited for the score release.

How do we know when it's okay to post about the plots of films and things related to them? Aren't we always technically spoiling the film for those who haven't watched it yet, no matter how old the film may be? Should we just never talk about films and their plots, and other things related to them? I would just like to know when we are given the okay to post things about the films, etc.
