OMGOSH!! Who's going to be pre-ordering Disney's NEW "The Silly Symphony Collection 1929-1939 & The Skeleton Dance Bundle" box set????
'The Silly Symphony Collection 1929-1939 & The Skeleton Dance Bundle' CD (2015)

...and...
The Silly Symphony Collection

$400. is a bit steep for the average person. Disney should release these cd's one at a time where everybody can afford them instead of a box set @ $400. :/
This is Limited to 5000! Pre-Orders will ship before the Holidays.

Those are actually LPs, not cds. Plus the purchase comes with a digital download.

Holy shit, at first I thought this was download links for the set, and I was like SHIT, HELL'S COMING but then.. it's just a thread for something that's been announced since the start of the year, and so far is just LP only

Disney Are Keeping A Close Eye On These, And Do Not Want Them Posted Anywhere, So If They Get Posted Or Shared The Site Will Be In Serious Trouble.

I must have missed that they were LP's. Thank you for clearing that up for me, stardragon978. :)

I don't blame anyone for not sharing. $400 is a hefty sum, plus that music isn't for everyone. And you know some people are sooo grateful...

And the obvious lawsuit and C&D that Disney would do if it was uploaded.

It was a hefty sum, I admit. But am just starting to listen to the downloads and I don't think I will regret this purchase. Although my bank account might. Lovely cover jackets and the liner notes are stupendous. A really nice package. Also a single LP with THREE LITTLE PIGS and SKELTON DANCE with full cover art.

Why does Disney care about these but not of the other countless Disney releases shared online?

Would love to hear these and would have dropped the money for CDs or even just lossless downloads. Great releases but Vinyl is just not my thing anymore.

I got news for you boys. It was already posted via PM and for those few who were lucky enough to receive the links it's worth the $400.00! No I don't have any private links to share so don't ask,
they were deleted after download as requested by the gift giver.
As for Disney keeping a close eye... This was the news from DisneyChris back in September you can read for yourself here
Thread 91308 truth be known, if Disney could shut this Forum down they would have done it a long time ago. Seems to me like DisneyChris was tipped off because Disney is watching him, not this forum. If anyone should be worried it should be him. Here our identity is anonymous with thousands of IP addresses all mingling together from all parts of the globe. DC on the other hand is one person with one IP address sitting on thousands of megabytes of copyrighted material in the USA that all belongs to Disney. So who do you think should be worried? If Disney was really watching and really worried then they should do like Varese Sarabande label, Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group, EMI etc. go through the right channels and stop it from being posted openly.

I just read his post and when people suggested that argument over the recent CD archive collections they were sneered at. I'm skeptical Disney wants the LPs to sell well. If they'd put these on CD they'd have sold even more. I wish I had been lucky enough to be gifted with a link. If I had $400 I'd but the set.
Oh, great. Thanks for letting me know a few lucky ones got them and we don't. In other news, I got something super special that I'm not sharing with anyone because e e e e e e.

Not to worry mate, for even as you read this many a collector is converting his or her first play of vinyl to digital flac. It may take a few, but sooner or later you will see this posted.

Yes, if you want to ruin a "good thing" - do not post these tracks. If you think protecting their filmed media and TV shows are a big deal, they've invested quite a lot in their music assets and definitely do not take lightly to unauthorized use. Plus, the person restoring and remastering these elements is not exactly doing it for a paycheck, but out of love and care for the music (I'm not saying others aren't, but to get Disney to move on a project like this is rare).

Again, when I used this argument on the Disney Legacy CD series I was sneered at. Why are these any different than those? That's all I'm asking.

I would love to have this but just can't justify spending the hefty retail price of the vinyl box set. Does anyone know if this is going to have a digital release or a CD release? Thanks

Yes the box comes with a code for a digital download. That's why I hope that at least ONE buyer of this great yet expensive box set made it available on the internet so it finally ends up in my PM box ^^

Wow! This is awesome!
May I ask where you found this collection?
I would like to find out what happened to the missing tracks.
Or do you know it by chance? :)
