This file contains an audio rip that was made from the Twilight Time Blu Ray disc release of the film, Under Fire (1983). It is the audio channel that contains music and sound effects of the film—no English dialogue. However, since this film is set in Nicaragua, Central America, you will hear some minor Spanish dialogue.
I took that audio rip, selected the portions that had the music score (eliminating the source music) and gave them tracks which totaled 22.
As I am not a fan of this movie, I didn’t name each track, so, I just gave each track simple titles like cue 1, cue 2, etc. The music is presented in the order as it appears in the movie.
The reason why I chose the MP3 format is because most of the tracks in this presentation have a high degree of sound effects mixed with the music—explosions, Spanish dialogue, etc—so, to hear all those in a higher format without the movie would be pointless.
The best way to approach the listening of this presentation is to evaluate the music, after all, it did receive an Academy Award nomination. As a result, you may appreciate Goldsmith’s album presentation, with its exclusive material not written for the film.
As a bonus, I have presented in this file, 4 tracks from the music and effects track in WAV that do not have any sound effects or have low-level and/or brief sound effects.
Enjoy.
