Actually I would call it as a family movie because the main theme was father/daughter relationship, mainly drama and I figured that out in the very first trailer :) At that time my friends didnt want to believe me lol but in time they saw it.

Not that loud, I mean in total I guess only 3 scenes were loud and thats all. And most of all it was only the Zimmer's scores :) and some effects (real deal sound effects, watched the creation video of it), other than that talking only. You shouldnt have said that to your mom :)

If it can properly be extracted without all the SFX on top of it, then there's a chance. It should have a 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track, so I don't think there's anything to worry about

It would probably take me an hour to reproduce the whole track but you will have some bullshit skipping thanks to damaged quantifiable connection, unless I can find a similar sounding piano, I can just write the piano part and it would be clean

after listening to your recording I agree with "Who's They?", which actually is a revamped version of the original demo like I thought, so yeah that's pretty convenient. A lot of work just got minimized even further

Yeah, it's a bad sheet to read from to be honest. It might be the ending of the Organ Variation where the organ gets louder.

It's hard to tell if the sheet is the score for what part of whatever track, but the page in the picture is certainly the first page of the sheet due to the bar numbers and descriptions and headings.

I figured it was the first page not because of the bar numbers (I can't read music obviously), but because it looks to be on top of other sheets in a manilla folder. I wish this featurette was in 1080p, but sadly it's only in 720. I'd like to think it is the Organ Variation, but I guess we won't know. Maybe if this ends up being on the Blu-ray, then I can get a clean shot.

The end credits are a special concotion of various cues heard throughout the film. There isn't a definitive way to just grab this cue and that cue and throw them together, thus making the credits.

Logged in just to 'Like' this. Although to be honest, posting eBay links here probably has no impact on how the bidding goes up. Let's be honest, if the bidders were attracted to the item through this site, wouldn't that be good for us? It would mean there would be more members of this site bidding on the item, thereby increasing the chances that a member of this site would win it. And logically, wouldn't that also entail that it would be more likely that the winner would post it here?

As a side note, I would be wary about something like this. Keep in mind that the FYC was already released in a low bit rate form. Who's to say that someone didn't just download the web rip, burn it on a CD and then is selling it on eBay? I would guess this one is probably legitimate, but it's something to keep in mind. Also, to those who want to bitch about something as trivial as the cover to a promotional score, shut the hell up and please leave.

It will just make more people bid against eachother and it will sell for a crazy amount, and most likely that person who sees the link on this thread is going to use it for trade, instead of openly sharing it. It's not only one CD, it opens as a digipak most likely, the Days of Future Past FYC is like this too, and it is 2 discs as well. It is what is posted on Paramount's site.

People who are into FYC scores (and have serious money) are monitoring ebay for such items and I think they would have found it sooner or later.

I do remember stumbling across that back in Spring 2010. It was listed as the FYC promo, but that's wrong as teh FYC is actually 18 tracks and differs from the OST. It was a 3-Disc set. Don't know if it really sold for that, it might have been the same situation as Prometheus. Which leads me too.....

.....someone who works for a record label told me. People do it all the time. Let's say I have 2 eBay accounts. I use one account to list something. When people finally start bidding, I use my other acocunt to place higher bids and everyone bidding on it will then place bids higher than the bid I just placed using my other account. And eventually it gets to the point where the winning bid is ridiculous.

Coward is my 2nd favorite track. It's also a monumental point in the film. I agree with DAK that it would make much more sense to remove Tick Tock and keep Mountains. At least they left No Time For Caution! Though they should have just left off Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night. Even if they had extra time left over. lol. Though I hope that we will eventually get some kind of Blu-Ray rip of Michael Caine's recital. Too bad I don't think he ever recites the whole thing...

I can't say what number it is of my favorites, but it's definitely up there. I would say probably 3m10 Entering Endurance, 4m17 Years of Messages, 5m21 Our World, 6m24 Coward and 7m27 Detach are my favorites of the cues. And Murph is my favorite suite

I'm making an edit for personal use that consists of all of the film versions of the Interstellar Complete Score cross-faded together exactly as they are in the movie, especially the second and third act. I might not even cut it into tracks and keep it as a 2 - 3 hr audio file for mobile listening.

That sounds pretty epic. I like to do that with my favorite scores. I use the Blu-ray audio (only as I guide so I can see the waveform) and crossfade the cues as they are in the film.

While CD is a technically and objectively superior format with more potential (along with higher res pcm/dsd) it is rarely taken advantage of, many modern vinyl counterparts feature a superior master. The mastering for vinyl generally requires more finesse and the target demographic is expecting something more pleasing to the ear.

A prime example is Daft Punk's Random Access Memories, the master for vinyl is superior not only to the CD but also to the 24-Bit 88.2KHz Lossless release which really should be able to outclass the vinyl version blindfolded and with its pants down.

I always prioritise in the order of Mix/Master > Format when it comes to collecting music.

And then there's the subjective taste for vinyl's signature sound/s, but that's another matter..

I know my rips would sound a lot better and be of much higher quality than they are, but I don't have fancy equipment. I have an Ion Profile LP turntable wih a usb that plugs into my Mac and that's how I record them. I wish I had better equipment

Yeah if they can rip it without SFX, a lot of people will refuse to touch an edit or rip if it has any sign of SFX. I made a version using the screener audio and the version without the static/artifacts, but we will see if someone can pull off a miracle.

Also, I also heard the FYC CD is going to be a let down from someone who has one, so don't get your hopes up.

Being pressed CDs is no guarantee that it's free of any issues. It's a risk to take. After all, the files on the site, and the CDs themselves, are most likely coming from the same source. So unless the flaws on the site material is caused from bad mp3 encoding and/or things happening during upload to the site, there's a big chance you could have the same flaws on both...
