Hello my friends!

Ok so... I wasn't really thinking of doing this up until 2-3 hours ago!...

I don't know if you've heard about this contest Hans Zimmer started a little while ago called "Destiny's Door" Bleeding Fingers Contest...

I'm from Switzerland so I'm not allowed for submission anyway, but i thought I'd give it a "try" still, as a re-harmonization/composition exercice, because i simply don't do enough and just wanted a quick break from studying my material and books!

Initially, as stated in the rules, the track limit is set to 120 secs... I overstepped by an unforgivable 15 secs mark, so that makes me even more of a hack...

I don't know what you'll think about the end result, but i certainly wish at least one, if that's one only, might want to give it a 2nd listen when he or she is finished...
Wouldn't that be a successful step forward already, sort of...

Is this supposed to be a soundtrack score or did you just misuse ffshrine?

I've got bleeding fingers, yes, by sorting out all the rubish which is utterly displaced on this plattform.

In Germany it's apples and pears, for there don't grow oranges.

Oh my... did you just say a forum dedicated to file sharing is being... misused..? A forum dedicated to music piracy is being... misused ?

Oh my, you are a douche, indeed.

Bonjour RudiRe,
Sorry if my post wasn't clear enough, but that's ok... This is simply a contest for which H.Zimmer created and posted a new composition splitted into each of its stems and which people/composers are allowed to re-use for their benefits...

I simply thought that some people here might appreciate my take that's all...
All the best... :)

Thank you DAK!
This was extremely kind of you to say, you're probaby a very nice chap to hang around with, i can tell :)

Sorry i only pop up, like once a year or something, it's been the oh usual evil "busyness" for me that i have not allowed myself to compose practically a single note so far. So i really used this to amp it up a bit for me... For those interested, listeners or other fire-burning aspiring composers like me, i'm practicing through books and certain exercices for my ear training (most important), harmony, orchestration, composition, counterpoint, (also sound synthesis "not yet, but still..."), etc... anyway quite a long journey

Here's a little, i think, useful link for people wishing at some point in their life to seriously and absolutely compose "from the heart" without any piano or instrument - Pretty much helps living the romantic notion of what it should be like being a masterful gifted and inspired composer:

Bonne journe tous...
