Hope you're all doing great these days!
Not a whole lot of sun out here in Switzerland...
actually there is some this very part of February, but I've still been spending the whole week
in my dark bedroom giving physical birth to some ideas i had collected while i was
doing my usual survival job in this very friendly shop...

I've been thinking a lot recently about this "thing" called "Man Of Steel" for July 2013, so I thought: "Hey why not just dive into it & pretend I'm the great Lord Hans Zimmer and i'm gonna change the universe forever with my little (be warned!) "suck-ass 320 kpbs mp3 mix" release..."

I consider this as one of my first real attempts at creating actual "melodic" material, so please...
Be merciless me & crush me down with everything you have on this one!

Update:

The track is NOT from the official score, but a PERSONAL work created with my sample library basically inspired by everything i've come to absorb from Hans Zimmer!
I called it a "prevision score" because this was an attempt for me to create something that "might" sound like what he will come up with...
I truly apologize if this has been nothing else than a misleading presentation for you...

Lovely work, thanks for sharing! Probably not dissimilar to what Zimmer himself will ultimately deliver. Shades of Morricone, who is a significant influence on HZ.

Yes I know that this has nothing to do with the movie... I'm just expressing my worries about the upcoming score.

Same here, so in that case, I will NOT be listening to this again until I see the film and hear the score. Nothing against FFDream, it's just I'll be let down if it doesn't compare to this

But, Why would it? After all, talent aside, the poster has no connection to Mr. Zimmer, and no real idea of what Zimmer has planned for the score. We are all quite familiar with Zimmer's recent works, and should be prepared. The Batman films can withstand the darker synth like stuff. Superman **has** to a bright, heroic in your face thematic affair with real orchestra. It just does. Anything else at all will be a dismal failure. So, like I said we are all familiar with recent score trends (NOT any one composer, trends in general).

I get what you mean. But the fact that this has now been marketed towards Man of Steel, it's too late. Once it's been said, I can't get it out of my head. It's like Inception. I say "don't think about elephants". What are you thinking about? Elephants. I'm now always going to associate this with Man of Steel, regardless of it having anything to do with the film or not. That's just the way my brain works, unfortunately

Actually, when you say "Inception". a safety trigger in my brain flips, disengaging the audio sensors thus preventing the massive brain damage that accompanies the listening to of that...err... "score".

Oh, I despise the film. My first hearing of the score was the OST, which is a horrible album. I could not concentrate on the movie, all I got was this noise, wall of sound coming over the movie in every scene. I felt it was all wrong. But, hey. Just me. I know y'all like it, so I rib ya some. :)

Amazing, but some notes reminded me of Pearl Harbor's theme, but somehow amazing. Seem "Zimmerness" score, or you're are Zimmer himself. Thanks for share.
