I just got out of Luca and am currently on the Mi'ihen highroad.

I've been looking through various places for good blitzball free agents and I can't seem to find one I'm looking for.

I'm looking for Kiyuri, but I can't find her. I've checked around the internet and they all say she is on the S.S. Winno deck.

The problem is that when I go to Luca's harbor on dock 2 (I think that's where the S.S. Winno is), access to the boat is blocked by a guy who says "the ferry will be anchored for a while".

It seems like I don't have access to the boat and therefore Kiyuri at this time. Maybe later on in the game I will be able to board the S.S. Winno but I don't want to wait.

I want to get her now so I can develop her with the rest of my team.

So am I looking in the wrong place or do I have to to wait til later on in the game to get her.

Shield reduces damage by 3/4. 10,000 Needles does 10,000 fixed damage, which Shield (Aeons can Shield) reduces to 2500. 99,999 Needles however does 509,949 fixed damage which is capped to 99,999. Shield reduces the damage to 127,487 which is still capped to 99,999.
