Well if Jecht and Auron were missing for 10 years than thats when Auron crawled to kihmari in Bevelle and asked him to watch over Yuna. Than Auron died and watched over Tidus for 10 years in Zanarkand. Yuna is 17 in ffx so 17-10=7

it was probably mentioned when tidus sees his mother in the farplane. i'm taking a total guess, but since he sounded surprised to see his mom in the farplane, maybe she died when Sin attacked? that's what i always thought, anyway.
