Final Fantasy X is a good game. I agree the battle system is okay, the story is good, the characters are original. But the whole game is a movie and bosses!! All you do is watch and fight. You watch the FMVs and then boss comes. You take five steps and another FMV comes on and you fight another boss and this goes on for the whole game!!! Does anyone think the same?

FFX is nothing compare to Xenosaga about cut scenes. Xenosaga just pisses me off -_-;

Strangely enough, both games have nearly the same amount of time spent in cutscenes. The difference as I can see it is that Xenosaga's are longer, but spaced farther apart.

Yeah, this was irritating me, when I first played it. But after I got used to it, I liked it..... ;)

But you are right, it is like a big movie. But I think it's cool. :)

That's what I loved about FF X. You get past something, and whoo! A FMV sequence. I personally LOVE the FMV sequences. It's one of the major reasons why I play the games. Although it meant for a linear storyline, they did it very well.

It's not just the FMV sequences...it's the way the game is played and narrated that makes it feel so much like a movie, at least in my opinion.

I liked it, even though I didn't like how non-linear it was.

Well for me, it seemed like one large story that continuously flowed. Although linear, I think it's a very good game.

i love x, but yeah i agree with you, its all fmv's and fighting, but i think thats a good thing because come on, who wants more cloister of trials? I HATE the cloister of trials, almost as much as maths!
And in a magazine i read once it didn't refer to x as a game but it called it a 'interactive movie' but whatever! xx
