Black Element person

HI, i was just wondering if anyone can tell me how to kill the Black Element in the underground of Bevelle. He has a habit of killing me with 9999 points! Also, does he give you a Crimson Squad sphere? I am missing two and think he has one!

What you do is, when you die, taking a gun to school the next day and shoot everybody. When everybody is dead, try again. If you lose, go kill some more.

All right — quit screwing around Chewey. There are a few different ways to defeat it — if you have Mascot, get that equipped. If you have the Songstress’ Magical Masque (I think that’s the name of the ability), equip that to block its magic. Try the special dresspheres, or anything you can to boost your HP.

also use Gunner Table-turner ability and Dark Knights Darkness abiltiy.it only has 9999 health so with some luck you’ll bust him up

Yeah, safersephiroth’s tip should work really well — especially if you don’t have some of the stuff I mentioned. Dark Knight may be the way to go because of the really high HP. Oh, BTW, you don’t get a Crimson Sphere for this battle — the only two Crimson Spheres in the Via Infinito are the one on Cloister 0 and the one on Cloister 20. If you’re still missing any, then you missed one somewhere else.

P.S.: One other thing that should work like a charm — equip one of the girls with Lady Luck and use 777 Random Reels / Pause trick. This is a trick where you start up Random Reels and wait for a 7 to appear at or just below the top of one of the reels, then hit Pause. Quickly let go and hit X and if you time it right, you can get it to land at the bottom. Once you master the timing, you should be able to get 777 almost every time. And this will bribe it and make it go away, plus give you extra gil.
