Since the old iTunes rip thread is a huge mess, I decided to branch off and make my own thread. These MP3s were converted from high quality FLACs graciously provided by Vegeta (http://forums.ffshrine.org/members/vegeta-324417). (If you'd like to get a hold of those, you're going to have to join his Subscription Service.) I've also fixed a couple of tags from the last release so this about as best as it's going to get. (found an extra " in one of the tracks and corrected 'Pok�mon Aime' to 'Pok�mon-Aime'.)

That's a bit odd, did you install the MEGA Plugin? I usually have to use Firefox because Chrome freezes up on me.

It's worth pointing out that almost all 320 kbps MP3 files (including these) are lowpassed right at 20.5 kHz (), while iTunes AAC files are instead lowpassed right at a 44.1 kHz file's maximum frequency of 22 kHz (). So there's a tradeoff. The lower bitrate AAC file is lowpassed higher than the higher bitrate MP3. By design, the LAME MP3 encoder is programmed to cut off the higher frequencies that are most likely inaudible to the listener. Personally, I can't hear the difference between 256 kbps AAC and 320 kbps MP3, so the only reason I like AAC more is because my music player has a live spectrum view and I like looking at this () a lot more than looking at this ().
