I've made an edit (courtesy of member k_bacon who did the gamerip, posted elsewhere) and it's different from the promo (following the gamerip's order, shorter cues edited together, the final battle music and so on). The WAV is not better than the FLAC just cost 2x more space disk, the FLAC compress to save space as a .zip but reduce not the quality of the sound, it's exactly the same as WAV.

It's just because these are the original files, on the composer's website. For hardcore fans only I presume.
