There could be several reasons. The thread author might be away on a trip, or busy with a job or school. Maybe their computer is in the repair shop. Another possibility is that you've only made five posts and yet have been a member of the shrine since 2009. Some people are hesitant to trust people who don't participate more often.

I haven't received a message yet either but it takes a few weeks sometimes, so I'm not worried in the slightest. And even if I never get a link, I'm still not worried - this is a wonderful gift, for free. I don't have this now and if I don't get it from this thread, ever, I'm still in the same position I'm in now - nothing will have changed for me. If you really need it super quick - just can't stop thinking about it - you could always buy it, thus supporting the label to ensure they stay in business and continue to be able to offer us fantastic releases.

I don't mean to come across as ornery - I'm not upset by your post - I'm just trying to provoke thought. I think it comes across as impatient when people post follow ups asking about stuff. That alone might cause a thread author to not send you a link, if they misinterpret the post as impatient.
