Saw the film last night and the score really fits well, great use of the MI theme and the action cues are the highlight ("out for a run" sounded great in the cinema) thankfully too lengthy album 77mins.

No the cues that he used from Elfman's score didnt appear in his score for M:I III, he used them quiet effectively in the scenes that they turn up in. I also was happy to see that he reused Ethan and Julia's theme from M:I III as well.

And I loved his take on the variation of the M:I theme used durring the opening and closing credits.

I think Charlot needs to edit the beginning post and use the largest font size possible to say that it's the other people who need to send out the PM. This is ridiculous how many times we've tried to correct them and absolutely no one understands.

See, I don't think it is a language barrier. I think most folks don't ever really bother to read the full OP. And after that, most are not reading the pages. They just skip to the end. Or just post reply without looking at anything else. So constantly replying here is not gonna do any good, as they don't read that either. Loved the movie... Music was nice too.... Clever use of the MI theme

Wow... this score is surprisingly bad. It actually grates so much on my nerves that I can't imagine it at least working in the movie. Sure, Giacchino is no Williams, but I expected at least an okay listening experience. Hell, this shouldn't even be put on a CD.

Well, I'm pretty sure you're the only one who thinks that, so your ears may be falling apart. I have no opinion in this as I have not seen any of the previous movies (okay, I have, I think, but not to the point that I think I need the score), nor have I seen this one so I am no judge.

Most of the scores have been dissapointing this year. I still like Sherlock Holmes 2 - but the score from the first one is one of my favourites of late...and the 2nd is nowhere near as good.
