Posting this to ensure that I won’t forget about this obscure gem.

Venus & Braves is a spiritual successor to its earlier counterpart, Seven, and was released in Japan only on the PS2 and later ported to the PSP. As far as the soundtrack goes, it’s basically the Holy Grail right now just to find the whole thing. I’m in the middle of renovating my PC right now so I can’t purchase it from iTunes due to lack of space, but there are two volumes for it under the name Seven – The Cavalry of Molmorth:

Volume 1: https://vgmdb.net/album/23481
Volume 2: https://vgmdb.net/album/23578

If anyone can grab it for the sake of conservation at least (I think iTunes is going down later this year), then that’d be great. Niche RPG soundtracks like this one don’t deserve to fade into obscurity.

You can find both soundtracks for Seven in mfgore’s thread: Thread 227575 Give them thanks there.

As for Venus & Braves, there’s no full soundtrack for it. There’s only this CD: https://vgmdb.net/album/2971 which came bundled with the limited edition ver. of V&B and it contains selected tracks from both Seven and V&B. You can find that here, thanks to unip: Thread 126974

Other than that, a game rip is your only chance if you want to listen to the music of V&B. Drawing from memory, I think V&B only uses the battle themes from Seven and nothing else from that game. Edit (correction): V&B does have its own battle themes (standard and final boss) but it does uses the battle themes found in Seven, too. I should have remembered that, bah.

Thanks. VGMdb had some scarce information on it so I wasn’t sure how much of the music was from Seven.
