question for audiophiles

hey all. during my usual travels across the vast wastelands of the flea markets, i saw some nice-looking headphones called metrophones lcd. i already looked into the official site and they sound good for musicians. but my question is, can they work as regular headphones? the thing that atracted me is the noise isolation if provided when i put them on. not as good as my custom made peltor earmuffs-turned-headphones, but im willing to bet sound would be louder.

if anyone can tell me if they work as normal headphones, ill go buy them tomorrow for 3 dollars.
