Yes, I want it too! I’d buy it but I refuse to install iTunes just for that song, not worth it.
Someone please upload it ;w;
Because this release is suposed to be only for Japan, and right there it’s Oct 20th. :/
I hope the untouched m4a is released asap I need it. I wanna listen to it over and over again.
That’s your opinion.
I know. but even so, I’ve seen japanese sites upload the MP3/FLAC/MP4 a hour after the original release in japan, sometimes I wake up thinking I need to wait another day just to find out it’s already uploaded.
I’m sure this happened because us, the westerns, just forgot that tomorrow it’s today for them.
well it’s already uploaded on Itunes Australia too, so that might get our hopes up a bit?
It won’t, this is a very casual thing for Nintendo.
If you think it’s due to DRM, that didn’t stop anybody ever..
Australia says hi.

Unless they release the song outside of the iTunes store, we have to wait for that.

Still can’t.
Perhaps that’s the reason why it’s not out anywhere yet!
Again, iTunes DRM didn’t stop anybody. That won’t be an issue. It’s definitely what’s been said now. It hasn’t been released everywhere yet so barely anyone got a chance to get it.
anyhow, will keep looking for it. if I find it, I’ll link it here immediately.
Don’t worry, just find a way to get it now, share it with me and I’ll forgive you
Yeah, seems like, unless some Australian pirates share it, we’ll have to wait til tomorrow.
it surely is created, that’s how I found out of this album to begin with. but it still lists it as unreleased even though it is in japan and australia.
on the other hand, lots of game journalist are just reporting on this so it’s just a matter of time until somebody notices and decides to buy it and share it. if not then tomorrow it’s another day.
Of course it won’t though because first party Nintendo games always get their soundtrack delayed by months. Jerks.
as said by PonyoBellanote Nintendo doesn’t always release soundtrack for their games, not even Mario games. there are exceptions like Pokemon and Kirby but thats because they belong to second party/ third party developers kind enough to do that. I think heard once that Nintendo has a policy about not releasing soundtracks but Im not 100% sure.
of course there have been the oddballs like Galaxy, Sm4sh, Mario & Luigi 1-3, heck even 3D World and MK8 which I thought would never have a soundtrack release; they became Club Nintendo only rewards which… isn’t exactly groundbreaking but it seemed the only way they were willing to give music to their fans… or at least it used to be this way.
it seems Nintendo fans might get much more music releases in the future. starting with Splatoon, ever since then we have gotten one full game music release, a song compilation of the two fictional stars Callie and Marie, a collaboration with a band which name I forget, and an upcoming second music release of Splatoon 2’s soundtrack, all purchasable soundtrack. then Breath of the Wild rolled in and boom! a music compilation was released including tracks from BotW. didn’t stop there, Mario+Rabbids, holy shit, can you believe it got a soundtrack release? and then Metroid Samus Returns special edition, bundled with a soundtrack CD, same with Fire Emblem Warriors; it seems that Nintendo is slowly opening the door for more soundtrack releases, like this song which kinda came out of nowhere. however i’m still doubtful, is still too early to get our hopes up but these are good signs, we’ll have to wait and see.
