The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes
"Timeless Tunes"

100 minutes, 557 MB (FLAC) / 156 MB (MP3-V0)

8-bit versions of the entire Tri Force Heroes soundtrack, as heard with the Timeless Tunic! Includes "totem" variations in the applicable songs!

Nine tracks are GameRips at 32728 Hz (downsampled to 32 KHZ in the MP3 version); all the rest are Line-In recordings, extensively touched up to match the GameRip quality.

Audio comparison sample: Recording vs. Rip.flac (https://mega.nz/#!Pw42CDJL!iAJbTDHFMLv98S2Zah-40JSmeMHNTm9YnIFMb9VdX28)
(Plays several notes of a Recording, then a Rip, then one in each stereo channel)

This album took a lot of technical trickery to record, including various game hacks and timely use of the 3DS Wireless Connections switch. At times, I didn’t think it would be possible to record every song. Special thanks to several heroes from the GameFAQs message boards. More information is in the included readme.txt.

I hope this release satisfies fans of The Legend of Zelda and chiptune music alike!

Also available: Tri Force Heroes Mixed Soundtrack (Thread 211287)

When I saw the title, I thought it would be 8 bit musics with the ball game.

But, very good work ! Thanks

Yeah, I remember you were hoping for those songs from the music ball. I might be able to record some of them, but I can’t stop them from getting really fast. Would anybody be interested in recordings where the songs keep getting faster and faster until… I don’t know? Maybe just fade out after a few minutes?

Oh yes, please, try 😀 😀 😀

But, why record them ? These sounds aren’t in the files of game ?

Correct, the ball songs are all sequences just like the 8-bit music. That’s why the game can make them play faster, and why you hear the next few notes in the song at a higher pitch when you drop the ball.

I’ll try to record them soon! But it might take a few days!

I made some samples of the Lucky Lobby Ball music, if you want to check them out. 😀

Please let me know what you think. I feel like I could make them longer because they do get even faster, but these seem fast enough. Also, if I make every song about this length, they’ll all fit on 1 audio CD.

Great, then I’ll do more of those! 😀

Right now I have 12 of the 23 songs finished. But that doesn’t mean I’ll have them all in another 2 days. They play randomly so it could take a long time to get the last few; I need to splice 2 recordings of each song to edit out the mistimed 2nd hit; and I have to not drop the ball!

So before I post a new thread with the whole album, I’ll periodically add new files to the link above. 4 more were just added.

Good news! I managed to record all of them. They’re all posted at the MEGA link above, if anybody would like to sample them and give feedback before I post them as a new album.

For instance, I didn’t catch any of this when preparing the files, but there might be some spots near the end of some songs where the rhythm goes a little off for 1 or 2 beats because I didn’t time the sword perfectly. I don’t mind redoing a couple of the songs if there are obvious errors like that.

Ahh nothing to worry about in my opinion, considering that to record these songs you actually have to manually input the rhythm.
