This is probably just a lossy-transcode like the previous versions.
This is really hard to find in true lossless.

I’m unfamiliar with how to tell but I quickly ran the MP3 version that was on the HDD as well with the "FLAC" through Spectro and this was the outcome.

you’re probably better off sharing the MP3 version only.

Anyone who converts the FLAC version to a new MP3 will lose more quality.
At some point, depending how many times it’s been converted, it’s going to sound like you put a speaker under water for some of the softer frequencies.

Thanks a bunch for the insight. I’ll make sure the next thing I find worth sharing is true FLAC now that I’ve learned about the Spectro and how to identify encodes!
