Thank you so much! 🙂 Unfortunately, I’m pretty sure this is not what I’m looking for. I have like, five different "Skyfall" CD singles (I have every edition, plus I bought it on iTunes), so I have the original track. There was a ‘For Your Consideration’ promo CD with the abridged version of the song from the film, and that’s what I’m looking for. The track length is 3:54. The CD’s pretty hard to find, but I’ve been looking for it everywhere. If you by any chance have that CD and could upload that MP3, but otherwise, don’t worry about it. Thank you so, so much anyways, though! 🙂 I really appreciate it!
Do you have the ‘For Your Consideration’ CD? It looks like this: http://thumbs2.ebaystatic.com/d/l225/m/m-4rvfoxDqi8r4d6s7Saqtw.jpg.
Fantastic,Spectre.

And thanks for Goldfinger as well,my friend!
Thank you so much! Actually, someone else contacted me and volunteered to upload the MP3 for me, so I don’t need it anymore, but if you do have the ‘For Your Consideration’ CD and you don’t want it, I’d love to buy it from you! I’ve been looking everywhere for it. If you want to keep the CD, though, don’t worry about it.
Thank you, I really appreciate it! Yeah, now the hard part is going to be finding a copy that I can purchase because this person is only going to upload the MP3 online for me. Hopefully I’ll find it eventually. Thank you so much again, though. 🙂 I really appreciate your generosity and willingness to help!
Thank you so much! 🙂
Would you be so kind as to upload it to the Shrine when you get it? I’d love to hear an official "film version" of the title song…
Of course! I’ll bookmark this thread so I’ll remember, but yeah, once I get it, I’ll upload it for you. 🙂
I’m kind of pressed for time right now, but I got the official film version of "Skyfall". You can listen and download here: http://forums.ffshrine.org/f92/adele-skyfall-fyc-best-original-song-wav-185125/.

I am Spectre][SoundLab and AmbroTrax. I’m remastering and restoring soundtracks. I categorize and Logo these so people can keep track of where the release came from since I do the work on these.
I’m sure there are some that will dump my info in favor of the original Art Scans, but it’s my work and would appreciate people who keep proper track of who and where they came from. Thanks.

Hey guys and gals, I’ll be reuploading the first three plus some more when I get back up and running. These first three need EQ’ing and will be reposted along with the others. May take a month or two, I’ll do what I can.
I was able to listen Diamonds Are Forever last night. I think you’ve fully refined the process for these remasters. Compared to my CD rip there is definitely an improvement to the sound. Technically I don’t know what you are doing, but to my ears you are making these old recordings sound new and fresh. Thank you so much for doing this. Listening to all of your remasters has been an excellent experience.
-Matt
Keep them coming 🙂
Thanks a lot!
If that’s being stuck, count me in. And no apologies necessary.
Thanks for letting me know Spectre. It took me about 12 hrs. on my T1 to download the Dr. No soundtrack. Does anyone know a way to make MediaFire download faster or is it just swamped?
for a moment i thought they may got the hands on your release *hehe*
Just stopping in to say (again) how great a job you’ve done with these. Such an improvement to the sound on all of these. Many, many thanks to you!
-Matt
Everything else is working fine. Thanks for these amazing shares!
Probably my favorite Barry & Bond Score.
I’m downloading in this moment OHMSS, and can’t wait to listen!!
thank you very much for all the work and love you put in this "Bond project".
(Maybe you know it… but if not… In HDTracks they have the soundtracks of "Goldfinger" and "Live and let die" in 192khz-24bit and 96khz-24bit. I can’t buy it from my country)
OHMSS is the first… what will listen next? I don’t know, je, je , je.
Thank you again 🙂

You do know that those are upconverted mastered files they’re releasing right? I’m doing the same thing they are but with better results. The whole point of doing high bit depth is not to here a bunch of noise. It’s to take advantage of the extreme low noise floor as well. The process I use is more refined and involved during the process, getting better full range low noise high fidelity copies, with less artifacts. I’m working on "Diamonds Are Forever" in 24-bit~96Khz to release here for anyone interested in high res mastered copies.
Thank you so much!!!
🙂
Say thank you is not enough.
Amazing you share ”Diamonds” in 24-96!!!!
I make a bow to you 🙂
I’m continuing to love these remasters. I’m curious as to where you are accessing the 24 bit versions of these recordings. Thanks again!

Thanks Matt!
One more time…. Thank you!!!!!
(are you working with another 24-96?)
I just wanted to thank you again for all of the work you put into these soundtracks. I’ve listened to them all now, and loved what you’ve done with them.
-Matt
I missed a few score, so now I have a fine collection of scores.
Thanks for this!
Well, they were recorded on magnetic tape – and of course a high-rez transfer from these tapes can sound significantly better than the previously available "standard" 44.1/16 versions.
Man… could you say something about yourself and your remasters, in some place available from your every upload?
How you was doing it, shortly, equipment, software, experience? Any of it. Could you place some extra infos from restoration process – what was the source, some curiosities, why are you doing it, your incentives etc. That may be definitely interesting. So great work underestimated in some place like this. Why record labels are not interested about your work and employing of you, since you ahead everything officialy available. I can’t understand it.
Thanks for your great work.
Regards
Actually, I don’t now if anybody complained here for such a good stuff, but I can say some review after listening
"A View to Kill" in comparison to some tracks in Best Of 50 Years James Bond 2012 edition. Watch out for my
English.
My favourite track – Snow Job.
I’m not so happy. Maybe sound more matches to todays conditions, there is no noise, less "flashy" old sounding
high, but it’s dirtier, no good golden mean between that. Music lost fidelity in bass which may be exposed in
different way, because it’s clearly sounds that my previous copy has potential in it, I can just turn up knob to
hear better bass on 2012 edition.
Next thing, on many tracks quality is uneven. In some place there is less, and in other more high. Tracks are
variously mastered, it disturbs. Better to leave tracks on equal level. And also, mastering of tracks sometimes
differs between various tracks, more or less. For addition, some of your tracks are "behind the curtain" a little,
blurred, comparing to these versions which I heard. Probably at least sometimes, something was wrong with
callibration of your sound system.
For pluses, I can say that these more silent, less complicated backround tracks sounds good.
Illustrated by the Snow Job, I can say a remark that when you filter noise, there is always some deterioration in
high tones which cannot be restored, so sometimes it’s just left alone in more complicated tracks.
Conclussion.
This Bond has old tracks and old samples with bad quality, which is difficult to restore this old samples in good
way, especially without having them all to mix again. Probably Audition is not enough to restore brilliance of
many existing old samples in soundtrack. It’s also very dificult and demanding, and requaring time to put all this things together, restore quality, and also match quality to not make tracks sound differ among all tracks.
Couriosity. Maybe it can help you somehow.
I found some good stuff for briliancing old music, it’s Magix Audio & Music Lab 2016 Premium. I restored 44kHz
quality of 22kHz old tracks. May be usefull in some cases.
Check it out for more details:

My remastering project of Rayman 2 22 kHz (beta 0.7 stage)
Files are 44kHz on spectograms. Some of them sounds really quite good in comparison to 22kHz.
All I can say is, You can please some of the people some of time, but not all of the people all of time. Some people like more bass, or less bass, and more treble and some less treble.
I mixed these to my taste with the option to EQ them if you need to.
But a few tracks sounded rather good.
I know that it may be difficult to achieve good point of sound reference.
Actually, it’s not that bad as I nealed to Snow Job. You just created more punch bass intead of deeper, and sound is little blurred, rough. But it also noticable this work put to make this sound in more civilized way for today’s conditions.
I didn’t say it’s worse. It’s just difficult to not deteriorate anything by the way of all processing.
Speaking of which, can you tell which kind of equipment you suppose to have, if it’s not any reserved information? 😉
If you look for some mastering challenge, you can look into my files above, some are still need some improvement.
Greetings.
Nice upload!
The man reason I’m posting if over a glaring omission. Why no Casino Royal? (The original, not the Craig slumberfest.) I know that it’s universally despised among 007 die hards, but frankly, Woody Allen makes just as good a Bond as blondie. You even gave it the SoundLab treatment, Spectre. Does its omission in this thread reflect your disdain?
PHEW!
If you consider "Casino Royale" a spoof, than what does that make the "Star Wars"-mocking "Moonraker?" Or "Octopussy?" Or the particularly rancid "A View To A Kill?" Or any of the late Moore entires, for that matter? They’re all basically parodying what came before. If they are considered Bond films, than dammit, "Casino Royale" deserves the same treatment! Better!
I taught film awhile back and would show my students the ski scene from OHMSS as an example of how to properly edit a chase sequence. It’s flawless, easily the best assembled action scene in any of the 007 outings. These latest Craig pictures are as dry as a popcorn fart. The only one I have any regard for is "Skyfall," based solely on the work of Roger Deakins. Prior to this, "Casino Royale" was my idea of the best-looking Bond film, but Deakins is one of the best currently working. So good, that I was shocked to see his name attached to a Bond picture. Didn’t think the cheapskate Broccolis would pop for his services.
And, yes, I have been enjoying your work. Just last week I listened to "Casino Royale" and was thrilled to find the theme lyrics reinstated. Never sounded better! Just downloaded OHMSS and plan on giving it a listen later this afternoon. Thanks, Spectre!
Exploding watches, though. That’s fine…
On the subject, do you feel that the four previous scores require any kind of post-processing? Are the albums brick-walled? Again, awesome work, sir.
———- Post added at 12:41 AM ———- Previous post was at 12:10 AM ———-
Die Another Day is somewhat brickwalled, some tracks were mixed that way originally. The three fallowing it do not seem to be brickwalled, not a lot anyway. Tracks in general are not brickwalled unless needed. Are you wanting to Hardlimit the volume on those?
Example of my favourite tracks:
https://youtu.be/iuu4umxJgU8?t=485
https://youtu.be/iuu4umxJgU8?t=2040
https://youtu.be/iuu4umxJgU8?t=3475
https://youtu.be/iuu4umxJgU8?t=2514
I recommend.
(1080p gives bitrate around ~256 AAC)
Quick question though — as you may or may not know, the "iTunes exclusive" tracks from David Arnold’s Casino Royale are available in lossless from Qobuz (for those in Germany). Were you at all planning on remastering these as well?
Lately I’ve been catching up to your huge volume of work in this thread and re-relistening to selected works.
I don’t claim to be an expert, and I’ve no expertise in the audio engineering field. I do know how to operate the volume knob.
To put this more simply, I know Jack! Or I don’t know Jack! Wait, now I’m confused…
Nevermind. On the other hand, I do know what I like and what sounds good to my ears.
We don’t always tell people around us how they’re appreciated (but we damned sure complain when they’re irritating us). Maybe this is a good time to sing your praises.
In all the times that I’ve listened to some of your mastering works it’s always been a pleasure. And by pleasure, I mean something along the lines of eargasmic delites!
Whenever I’ve asked help from you, I’ve never been refused. You’re always sharing with others and I’ve never once witnessed you acting like a diva (read: a whiny man-bitch) on this board.
"A good man always knows his limitations."
Thanks again not only for this latest Bond Project and all your other works in the past, especially The Prisoner.
You’re my favorite Black-Hearted Pirate!
Couldn’t find "007 Spectre" in Flac 16bit until I got here 😀
———- Post added at 06:48 PM ———- Previous post was at 06:47 PM ———-
Huge thread, I have to say!
Thanks for these uploads, Spectre!!
can reupload it? thank you =)
Two reasons why it wasn’t shared:
1) It’s because "Die Another Day" is internationally released by 20th Century FOX (MGM for the USA), so you’re almost right about it being 20th Century FOX, despite the fact that FOX’s logo is nowhere to be found (kinda like the controversy surrounding the new Star Wars "film/LP mix" remasters from Disney)
2) This is personal, but I believe this shouldn’t be shared, even if we’re allowed to share it because EON/MGM (the Bond People) are looking at the sales for this release. If it sells, EON will give the "Okay" to La-La-Land or Intrada to release the other Bonds that didn’t get expanded scores, such as the other missing David Arnold ones, the Thomas Newman ones, the Michael Kamen one, the Marvin Hamlisch one, John Barry’s "The Man with the Golden Gun" (this is the most sought after among fans, along with "Moonraker", "Octopussy" and "A View to a Kill", because it showcases the musical growth of Barry in his later carrer, though "Moonraker", as of 2018, is still missing and presumably lost indefinitely) and Eric Serra/John Altman’s "GoldenEye".
Will you do Never Say Never Again? It would be great to complete the set.
btw, the Spectre link is dead.
Are these "Spectre][SoundLab™ Remasters" a Fanedit of the official Soundtracks or what exactly is this?
Rep left of course 🙂
I’ve always wondered why (the Bond film soundtracks especially have their track order all over the place and don’t follow the film). They first started it when the first CD of OHMSS was released which was in a different order to the LP)
Thanks..
Who is this group that did the "remastering," and what source material did they use?
Licensing issues with the labels, if I remember correctly (Sony Classical handled "Casino Royale" and "Skyfall", J Records handled "Quantum" because that was Alicia Keys’ label at the time, and Decca Records and Universal Music Classics handled "Spectre"). Chris Cornell’s "You Know My Name", Adele’s "Skyfall" and Sam Smith’s "Writing’s on the Wall" were absent from their respectful soundtracks because of licensing issues with the artists’ labels (XL Recordings and Columbia is Adele’s, Interscope was Chris Cornell’s, and Capitol is Sam Smith). All of these were released as separate singles from their own labels that the artists are tied to (or were, as Chris Cornell is, sadly, no longer with us).
This practice isn’t uncommon, especially in the way back then. For example, Rosemary Clooney wasn’t allowed to sing with her co-stars for the commercial soundtrack to "White Christmas" because of her contract with Columbia (the album was being released by Decca). Frank Sinatra’s vocals weren’t allowed to be released as a complete soundtrack to 1955’s "Guys & Dolls" because of his contract with Capitol (again, the album was being released by Decca and to add insult to injury, released a small EP of Marlon Brando’s and Jean Simmons’ songs from the film without the score and the vocals from the other cast that wasn’t Sinatra).

Thank you. But…
I have these original albums with the theme songs…bought them new. So how does this affect licensing today? Are these "remasters" from a legitimate organization or guys on the Interwebs who think they can improve on the CDs in their collection?
The Spectre][SoundLab™ Remasters? This is a fan remaster done by Spectre8750 for some of the Bond scores that were given "Loudness Wars" remasters officially, but Spectre8750 decided that they needed to sound better and not too bright (he and SonicAdventure were well-regarded for their remasters of scores that needed touch-ups).

To answer your second question: depends. It’s okay if a fan inserts the songs from the Craig films into the soundtracks. I don’t see a harm in that, as it’s a fan remaster or a fan expanded score project. If it’s an officially licensed CD issue (remastered or not), yes, this can affect things. This is why the artist always releases their theme songs on their labels as a single. Sometimes, the artist will refuse to give rights to the songs (Neil S. Bulk of La La Land Records was rejected by Madonna herself to release her song, "Die Another Day" for the 2017 expanded score issue being one example).

I’m sorry to be obtuse, but I appreciate your patience. If these are "fan remasters," what is the source material the remasterers are working from? If they’re "remastering" the original CDs, I don’t buy into fan remasters improving in the original studio release.
Unless these fans have access to the studio vaults, at best I think we can expect a differently equalizes version of what’s already out there.
Am I wrong?

Chances are (From "Dr. No" to "GoldenEye), it’s from the 2003 expanded reissue remasters. Some people didn’t like those remasters, because, they weren’t done very well (despite some of them being beautifully remastered by Doug Schwartz and produced by Lukas Kendall and Doug is regarded the best of the best of the remastering industry for expanded scores. Some were remastered by Bob Fisher and he’s rather infamous for giving us subpar remasters and responsible for the poor remastering jobs on the first three Connery films, Moore’s "Moonraker", "A View to a Kill", "The Man with the Golden Gun", "Octopussy", and "The Spy Who Loved Me" and Brosnan’s "GoldenEye". Dr. Tolby Mountain was responsible for the remastering of "For Your Eyes Only" and "The Living Daylights" and I have no problems with both of those reissues).
Fans are simply trying to take some of these remasters and try to make them better without them being "Loudness War" remasters (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loudness_war) (something that Bob Fisher did for the 2003 remaster of "A View to a Kill". That album sounded very harsh that fans resorted into importing the 1985 Black Triangle Japanese CD (https://www.discogs.com/John-Barry-A-View-To-A-Kill-Original-Motion-Picture-Soundtrack/release/1265691) or either the 1991 (https://www.discogs.com/John-Barry-A-View-To-A-Kill-Original-Motion-Picture-Soundtrack/release/3163081) or the 1998 Japanese reissue (https://www.discogs.com/John-Barry-A-View-To-A-Kill-Original-Motion-Picture-Soundtrack/release/744812) for better sound). There’s another great "The Living Daylights" fan remaster by SonicAdventure and can be found here (Thread 201630).

Nah. Fans doesn’t have access to the vaults, haha! That would be a pipe dream for the sessions to be leaked or something, but that’s near to impossible, haha!
