A rip is a rip. Don’t worry about it. The truth to the matter is the Wii U version of Smash has more tracks than the 3DS version.

Hopefully we’ll get one with artist tags.

The soundtest shows that there are originally 323 songs in the game (if I remember correctly), without unlocking or obtaining any additional content. But of course, it’s still a bit too soon for me to say that this is the final number.

If that’s the final number then I’m still more than happy! knowing the disc size though, and sakurai’s love for cramming all the goods in it.

Try fiddling with the settings, raise it to 192, or even 256-320 VBR0 etc, convert the video to just pure audio if you can. I don’t mind if it’s one big audio file, just as long as it’s smaller.

If not then I can just download your files and convert them to audio to upload if you allow me to…

Edit: My two cents are record it straight from your capture device then convert it to audio instead of using that one program, click format settings and see is a way to raise the bit rate.

You don’t have to do that though, you’ve already done enough. It would be nice though….

Good news: I unlocked all the songs from the 3DS version except the 8-bit kirby tracks and StreetSmash.
So we finally can have the 3DS music in good quality!

Also: best way to get CDs (at least for me) is farming Master Balls for Mew.

You guys should just wait for "Super Smash Bros. for Wii U" to pop up here (http://109.163.233.168/Wii%20U/). That will be a legit gamerip. Then get the vgmstream decoder for Foobar2000, and you can listen to the soundtrack in the best quality. Plus you can convert it to MP3 V0 if you want to listen with a portable player/in the car.

By unlocked you mean in-game? Because apparently the music for the Find Mii and Tomodachi Life stages aren’t in the game among others.

A friend made a good point — we’re still set to get a Miiverse stage on Wii U, so it’s possible the missing 3DS tracks will show up there.

I’d love if someone could rip Brawl’s opening theme song from the Wii U version because I’ve been waiting years for a much better audio quality rip to show up.

Can you please put it on MediaFire? Mega won’t let me download it. It’s keeps stopping partway through because it keeps saying my browser is out of storage space. I’m not sure what that means, and I’ve tried deleting my entire history, but that only let it download 10% more.

This is a strange file. Windows Explorer says 67kbps, spectrum analyzer says exported at 256kbps but actually below 128kbps… I really don’t know with this one.

Hellooo and good Evening/Morning/Afternoon!(Where ever your from!) my name is Mew3 I’ve been a long time lurker and a Youtuber! (Not gonna reveal who I am atm. lol.)here I wanted to contribute to Getting SSBB4 Wii U Gamerip up ASAP so I recorded the music at first through OBS (Open Broadcast Software) which was a bad idea now that I look back to it. lol. but about halfway through the rip I started recording directly from the capture device (hauppauge hd pvr) and the quality was muccch better than OBS. So far 128kbps on most of the series but everything else is 256kbps(I’ll list them below) Right now I currently have 381/450??? songs unlocked/Uploaded and I do plan on finishing this rip but help is very much welcomed at this point because I need to know what tracks are missing and we need more man power ripping the tracks from the videos and converting them to Mp3. well without further a due here is every thing so far!
